lol I started my dreads the other day, 1 dread took about an hour, but thanks to these 2 videos, I managed to make some of the sickest dreads I have ever seen, who woulda guessed my hair was perfect for soft thick dreads? :)

I would think it took longer cuz I kept twisting up blunts to some Alborosie and Eek-A-Mouse. Dreads lock so much better when there's a blunt and some serious Reggae pumpin behind you.. trust me.. do it sometime ;)

@REY4262 It's a normal part of having dreadlocks in the beginning and eventually they smooth out, especially if you take good care maintaining your locks by palm rolling regularly. There are also products available that help.

damn,i wish you wouldve taken a 2 or 3 day trip on this guy and to 3/4inch sections,he couldve had such a fuller head of tight dreads,eventually that wax will wash out and anyone that is gonna do dreads you should back comb so much tighter than this,my girlfriend did and now my hair has already locked in 2 months of having 1/2 inch sections
