Thanks, Preacher, for this good Sermon on this place in Ezekiel. Considering the phrase, son of man, was important. GOD wants us to always remember that we are flesh and very weak without GOD. How we need GOD! We are nothing without GOD. Our life is very short and hangs on a thread. Thank you for your list of Scriptural proofs. Only when we realize we're very frail and sinful do we come to JESUS. Christians live godly only by humility. For only when we're empty of self does GOD fill us!
Thank you for this Exposition. Ezekiel was a good man and lived according to Scripture, yet he was called the "son of man." God wanted Ezekiel to know he was frail and was made of the offspring of the dust of the ground. Man is frail but often is proud and does not like to face up to his frailty. When God comes to a soul and a soul comes to God this happens with a deep sense of the soul's frailty. It is important to have a real relationship with God. May I have a deep sense of my frailty!
Thank you for preaching from Ezekiel 28.1,2,7. GOD calls His prophet by what he was, "son of man." It was a good point that this was the phrase GOD called Ezekiel by the most (over 100 times in the book of Ezekiel). Ezekiel was a son of GOD and was a good man, as you said; but you showed well that GOD calling Ezekiel "son of man" encouraged a sense of frailty. Man's breath is truly frail. We are of the dust of the earth. A soul can come to JESUS when it senses its frailty.
