I live in Australia but I assume the rules are the same.
In the centres, there must be at least 2 adults in the room with the children. If there is work experience students, they cannot be left alone with the kids.
Bathroom breaks must be reported to the other adult in charge.
This daycare attendent is incompetent. You NEVER leave the children alone. For effs sakes, leaving the children alone to CHECK THE MAIL. -_-
Who would pay $3000 for daycare. My kids would have to be learning spanish and other schooling and eat only natural food and sleep on feather pillows for $3000 dollars.

As a Daycare provider is not required to "Watch children 24/7". When they nap you don't need to sit there and watch them. That type of interaction can delay them going to sleep! Do any of you HAVE kids that are commenting so negatively?

$3000 the STATE, translate that to TAXPAYERS paid for this breeder's 2 kids for playcare. If you cant afford kids DONT HAVE THEM, or give them to someone who CAN.

judge judy is correct, you can leave your own kids alone in the car while you getting your mail, But as a license provider daycare, you are full responsible for all the kids action while they are in your care, no exception. and beside i have a five years old, and as a mother, my kids or little don't lied about anythings, they are very truthful.

@sestren2503 Actually, with the skyrocketing birth rate and government reimbursement programs out there, it's actually the best business to be in right now. The plaintiff was just unorganized and did a horrible job at watching the kids, not to mention she wasn't even liscensed. She was bound to get shut down anyway.
