If you think about it, he only used the Beetle as an emergency car. If he would've chosen one of those cars, it would've been the delorean since he was in it first. They somewhat told us that even though the delorean was "unreliable" (in this commercial THAT IS), that it had better looks and looked better than their beetle. Delorean FTW

To be honest if youre gonna go delorean you need to take the chassis off & replace it,

John C. wanted all metal chassis to covert he car & that really makes it heavy + you would need to repace its renault engines, Theyre really not that great cars as you see on back to the future unfortunetely & they sound nothing like it in the movie

terrible using a delorean to show how good a beetle is. deloreans are not bad cars, they do have some faults , like with the gull wings, but so does a VW BEETLE . DELOREANS are beautiful looking too. also ive never heard anyone complain about the engine, apart from it could have been a V8.
