  • Nice sound

  • POWERFULL SYMPHONY, LOVELY SOUND

  • 1:45 best sound out..

  • also, how much was your "custom" exhaust? not including installation.

  • @ytjoekim It was around $900 installed, hard to say how much for just parts and labour

  • i want an exhaust that sounds like yours... recommendations?

  • Hey is it supercharged? If it is was it easy to do? I live in the states so I have a TSX (same trhing).

  • @AJAY606 Nope, the car was never supercharged. From what I've read, the supercharger install on this engine is not that difficult (especially considering the intake manifold is at the front of the engine bay)

  • @LemonMurphy Alright cool. Thanks. One more question. I already have a gredy evo2 exhaust, dc headers, and a aem short ram intake. I am gonna get the supercharger. Anything else i could get?

  • @AJAY606 If your car is manual then I'd really recommend a lightened flywheel as it wakes the car up a LOT. My car in this video has a JDM DC5R flywheel and the pick up in every gear from almost any rev is much better.

If your main focus is torque/power then you should do a high-flow cat to match your headers/catback, and I would look at getting a bigger header to match the supercharger. The DC Sports (from what I gather) are 2.25", you'd be better with a 2.5" or even 3".

  • @AJAY606 Also if you want the maximum power from your setup then you should look at the KPro dual-harness setup. A stand alone ECU allows for much more control over the tuning, thus overall power (if your tuner knows what he's doing). This matched with swapping the 50 degree VTC wheel from a compatible K20 would make huge numbers.

If you do everything you want to/I recommend then you should be looking at around 260hp and 320Nm at the flywheel.

  • @LemonMurphy thanks for the info. this gonna be one awesome car!

  • @LemonMurphy I think i see your car everyday at Canley Vale..

  • @wmmt369 You probably do - it was sold very close to there. How is she looking?

  • @LemonMurphy She looks pretty good, back to the stock exhaust though. It sits there all day parked outside though.. Oh may i ask where you got the custom exhaust? i have an 07' myself and looking for an exhaust. all the branded ones are mostly out of Aus and cost heaps delivered to Aus

  • @wmmt369 I've actually had the custom catback sitting inside at home since it was taken off the car if you'd be interested in buying it?

  • @LemonMurphy Just sent you a message :)

  • my 4th gear is very long

  • nice.

  • Takumi is such a douchebag. Your cl9 rocks :P

  • No squeal - the car tends to lose traction and stutter through VTEC in 1st gear.

If you've ever driven a Euro/TSX you'd know how stupidly long the 2nd gear is, you really have to rev 1st out to redline so it doesn't bog into 2nd.

  • Or maybe you drive a honda lmao

  • @LemonMurphy well at 1:50 you bounce the rev limiter lol.

  • That Js exhaust is sexy as fuck. more vids gogogo!

  • Hehe, thanks!

Though, it's just the J's Racing header, custom 2.5" exhaust after that. I want to get some new videos soon, but after some more work is done on the car :)

  • Favorite part is at 1:19....sweet vtecjizz
