Since this video, Paris has gone back to jail. I tend to agree with your point overall, except that males often receive far stricter sentences for committing lesser crimes. The justice system seems to be tilted in favor females in general and is far more lenient on them, particularly in cases of capital offenses. Why this inequity in light of the 'equality' brought by feminism? But yes, this was a high profile smear job to be sure.

I feel for this poor girl. She is obviously in anguish. The punishment really does not fit the crime. I agree with Jackie that it is completely demented on the part of the justice system. One can only hope she will survive the experience with minimal trauma. I guess its her wake up call. Who knows - maybe she will go on to become a great humanitarian. I wish her well.
