i agree on jack stands or in ice there is no way u didn't get enough shift shock for it to be a ligit 0-60 and it slowed down way to fast plus no squealing like my step side chirps into 2nd and 3rd and its 0-60 is 8 sec and it blows the doors off vortec's i will show u a real 0-60 and i just upgraded rear end 4.10 gears now hard to get it to hook under 20mph if i tromp on it i also got a 472 small block going in it next

@deanthemotocrossman No it's dry just a rolling burnout and the Vortec's you are blowing the doors off are probley stock. Thats not a very fast 0-60 there bud, Props to you by the way that 427 Small block is extremly rare! how did you get it?

@quiksilver72601 no its not a 427 its a rocket block 472 its a small block to puts out little over 700hp with mild cam 10.1 com. and 1000cfm carb the one i got has a wicked cam and is 10.1 becouse i want to run a blower eventually this is a sick motor. and that makes sense i was wondering why you didnt get shift shock, and thats a slightly modded 350 just msd ignition and headers. thats about it oh and i also got a 427 as well was in a 85 chevy i had

SWEET TRUCK!! I've always loved the 88-98 C/K trucks. I got 1996 Chevy C1500 that I bought brand new. Its a regular cab/5.7 Vortec combo. Check out my vids.

i can make my wheels spin like that too(dry or wet)...i got a 5 speed 350 vortec...post some more vids....one from a dig....cuz all i see is a nice looking truck with a kn air filter and a speedo jumping ridiculously fast with no scenery passing by!!...sorry man but i gotta call it like i see it, and so will most experienced youtubers ;-)

well its a dead issue now, i just sold my baby...but its going to a good home. maybe ill buy it back later...but im getting the money i sold it for and getting a Z71 (of the same year of course)....so yeah--im getting into the 4X4 scene better...ive had my need for speed satified with some mustangs, and the truck in my video...now i'm going off road bro ;-)

Hey man i got the truck back now...i know you're more into the "street" look but i'm planning on slapping on some big tires on mine and posting some vids of what these 2wd 5speed gmc's can do off road--Actually i already got 32's on the rear but want 33's on back and 32's up front--already tested it on sand in SPI and it did great out there. Didnt get stuck one time...but i got good experience driving in sand even with2wd!! Just stopping by--take care of your truck man...did you post new vids??
