i think its due to the size of the floor grating. i think the grating is a bit small for a terminator base so he had to go 2 wide in the halways. to get it to work. but typically its 1 square hallways which is why its hard to turn and attack someone whos behidn you due to the fact it costs you 2 action points to turn 180 due to tight quarters

i love his system. but the point of spacehulk is so you cant see around a terminator. spacemarines usually dont lose craft. its the imperial guard with there small hallways for regular sized troops that make space hulk so confining. as in you cant see past the man infront of you. but your board. as magnificent as it is. seems like its made for the terms i mean i know it is. but i dunno it would bother me if i could see past my commander and still couldnt shoot due to rules.

@joeypesci A few months back I went to one of their stores, with a single piece of themed terrain for a battle (we dont have nice gaming tables at home). they didnt want me to bring them in anymore or teach kids at the store how to make terrain out of cardboard and random bits. they only wanted them to buy the premade cities hills or barricades.

literally they said "you dont want to build it yourself, it's messy expensive and you'll just waste your time."

I was shell shocked. never went back.

I'm making some interesting space hulk terrain myself! It's a much more chaotic, abstract and ramshackle kind of aesthetic, there's rust and lime everywhere, graffiti left by Orks, Chaos Space Marines, and Genestealers...all good stuff. A lot of it's inspired by the rusty, metal mazes in the underground levels from Pikmin 2.

kool i have actually played a space hulk game in my local GW store but not the one with cardboard and stuff basicly u chose a guy and you went in with no armour or weapons and rolled a dice wen you went through a door dependind on your score a kind of tyranid comes out and you have to escape from the hulk i won with...... A gaunt! oh and the guy has to bee a troop no carnifex

I'm sure its a matter of personal preference but don't go bomb happy on the walls you see many Space Hulk terrain projects that do that and end up closing or boxing the game in.

Those hirst moulds are doing a great job I would seriously consider lower walls though.

space hulk is a classic warhammer 40k scenario about some termys on i think its a ship called space hulk. What happens is they're invaded by a bunch of 'gaunts and genestealers and they fight on the ship.
