the baby isn't latched on correctly- that's why it is making that "smacking" lips noise. The baby has to have the entire areola in his mouth- like "hypatience" states. And the baby's mouth has to be wide open "as if it is trying to eat a large hamburger (as I heard from professionals)

@araeheck Yes...extemely bad latch..when you hear the baby making all that noise, he is not getting any milk...repostion the baby with most of his mouth covering your areaola...just tickle his lip with your nipple then when he opens wide bring him to the breast...never breast to baby..always baby to breast..that's it..God Bless
