i grew up with ed cherry in new have ct. he lived on read st. in newhallville. he truly played that guitar from the time he was a chid. there was a lot of talent in that hood. i know he remembers playing knock on wood with clifford byrd. ed this is yours truly tony parker amd im proud to say i grew up with a jazz legend from the hood! man the whole neighborhood is proud of that great new have boy ed cherry

wow ... nice rare clip. Check out the young Ignacio Berroa on drums! Notice his set-up.. Dizzy always liked his drummers to accompany him on the china cymbal.
(I think it's Ed Cherry on guitar. not sure who is on bass..).
