Ah, the first level to EVER make me quit a game for months on end! I always died in the tower lowering in the sand part of the stage. That and having to repeat the maze when you're 10 makes you just want to mute Megaman's death sound and just deny that you ever died.

Of course, the second stage to make me almost quit Megaman 8 was Dr. Wily's Tower Stage 1, but that's another story...
