I think that the scene in the toilet is very complicated! When i saw this scene initially i thought that Sang-jun is a bastard for using Hanna, but after re-watching this i started thinking that maybe he actually liked Hanna from the beginning!

Let's examine the evidence; 1) he talks badly about her, but from another point of view he could be trying to stop Ammy's antagonism towards Hanna, 2) he say's to Ammy, "you think i like her?", when he said those words i thought to myself did anyone ask you, which naturally proves that he does really like her compared to all those silly woman! and finally 3) how the hell was he supposed to know that she was hiding behind that door!

Wow, after watching desensitized American movies all my life its great to see a film where the main character, who is fat, unloved and abused by everyone she knows, decides to cave in to pressure and blackmail a phone-sex customer into giving her dangerous cosmetic surgery which radically alters the very core of the being, but in the process validates her worth to the World by making her outer beauty (yay!) match her inner beauty (boo!).
i don't think that he meant unkindness or malice by what he said about Hanna he was just trying to get that girl to realize that she has what others can only dream of. His character is very indifferent and cool towards people and generally not unkind, but because of his indifference he comes across as a bastard! Towards Hanna his mostly very indulgent partly because he needs her but i think that he truly likes her because she's unpretentious. In the end though i still felt like slapping him!
