  • @100imachristian - Funniest thing ive read in ages, you should have your own show. I would call it 'Racist idiot say's the funniest things.' It could be hosted by Nick Griffin and he could try upholding your comments whilst challenged by an eight year old BRITISH ASIAN.

     Hell id watch it.

  • what the fuck is this shit . this isent what was on childrens itv in the 80s stig lived in a scrap yard and dident look like a fuckin caveman . whats goin on

  • @jimmyskingraffiti Haha thats what i was gonna say!

  • @jimmyskingraffiti Do you have to use such foul language to comment on a CHILDRENS programme, which will be viewed by ....wait for it............CHILDREN?.....

  • awsome

  • Some say he can drink a pint of diesel in under three seconds. Others say his testicles are made of fermented donkey cheese. We just know him as..... THE STIG!

  • lol little britan

  • its in what site to watch it?? thx

  • o.m.g i love stig of the dump....... gavs gf

  • childhood memories

  • STIGG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • This is a great story. It's actually of whoary age - the "civilised man" meeting a "savage" or "wildman". The oldest written story that we know of - "The Epic of Gilgamesh" (at least 4000 years old) is precisely this kind of story.

  • When I first read the book as a small child, I always pictured Stig, not as a caveman. but as bits of rubbish (Crisp packets, paper, cans, what have you) merged into a being. Never knew why the hell why...

  • The little boy here i have just recognised as now playing the young Paul McCartney in new film Nowhere Boy...

  • Really? I gotta check this, thanks for information..

  • @Simiro24716 Yes, it's weird cos i saw him in 'Bright Star' a few weeks ago, then recognised him again as 'paul' in Nowhere Boy, then i came across this on Youtube and realised it was him again! Had never heard of him a few weeks ago and now i see him everywhere! He has got 'something'.

  • He's also in Love Actually and Doctor Who :)

  • and Ferb from Phineas and Ferb. i love his accent :)

  • @haras9 Yes this is. I am his biggest fan EVER!!

  • does anyone know if the early 80's version is on here anywhere?

  • @antonjon1 I wondered that too-the only one i remember!

  • Remember watching this when I was younger. This bring back the memories!

  • When was this made ? I just saw Thomas Sangster in an old eps, of Dr. Who. and he hasn't aged much. I loved the old Stig Of The Dump from years ago in the 80's as a child!!

  • i love stig of the dump i love the music to this

  • i used to really fancy stig

  • @unclebumski Are you from the stone age?

  • thats awesome my dad works with Barney and everyone calls him stig because he was in this ^^

  • cool

  • Haha xD its funny when he says

    "I think he's gonna

    eat you x)

  • look at his face at 1.02! lol

what age group is stig? teenager?

  • i luv this film!!!

    i cry every time!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • it isnt a film!!

  • its more of a series

  • Well, it's stig of the dump.. But it's not really like the book. In the book, for a start, Stig was more of a child.

  • This is Stig of the Dump, if you disagree just shut up and get out to BBC.

  • this aint stig of the dump go back 20 years

  • That's the one I was looking for, I fondly remember watching Stig of the Dump on TV of a morning as a kid, many many many moons ago.

  • Aye, with his jam jar window :)

It was a small cave in a rubbish tip as I recall.

  • Amazed it is not on youtube tbh, I think every other old kids tv show is.

  • Yeah I remember that bit, the jars on their sides. Do you remember the ending, where it went all weird and they timetravelled back to Stig's time or something?

  • @Bevy0001 The jam jar window is the thing i remember the most-it must have stuck in a lot of childrens' minds!

  • Thats the one that sticks in my mind too. Got to love Stig .

  • @Bevy0001 this is the better version, the original one was bad, the acting was laughable and stig looked like a kid tramp with a rag round him, this is what a caveman should be/look like
