I don't think I can answer your question.... pole dancing is a mixture of dance, gymnastics and also acrobatics. It involves a bit of sensuality especially in strip club settings but there are more artistic forms performed in circuses as well, non-erotic environmnet. So I don't really know which category this dance falls into.

I would have loved to go, I knew about that, but had a makeup job. The next competition I am sure to enter is the European Championship in England next year in DUO category but would be interested in others as well just to practice. This was my first ever performance on stage!! Need more experience. Truth is pole dance is addictive!!!!!

Thank you for your comment, I like to think of it as my own 'invention' as I have never seen anyone do that before, however I have only been dancing for a year. I saw your winning routine and loved it. I hope to learn a lot from it ;)
