2.56 to 4.58 is by far and the way, without any room for doubt, the greatest guitar solo in the history of the entire fucking universe....you will never hear the like ever again.......now, wheres the number 11 on my volume control?
Gary Moore was my favorite guitar player . I still can't get used to the fact that he's gone. He was the one person I wanted to see perform and now I'll never get to. My heart will ache for him for a long, long time. His solo on the end of this song is awesome. R.I.P. my friend.
I saw him on tv in 1977 with Webber preforming "Variations" and that was the first time I had ever seen or heard him and I could NOT look away...I was totally blown away.
Then I got to see him with Lizzy in 1978 at the Sydney Opera House and from that point forward there was nobody else....sure...I dabbled with a Schenker infatuation for a while but I always came back to Gary.
@gbravelion1 You've gotta get used to lose a lot of your favorite heroes in the future too,- believe me.. When I just think about the eighties: Lennon, Bonham,Bon Scott, Ian Curtiss, Phil Lynott, after that Stuart Adamson, the list is just endless.. Saw Gary in Berlin just after Phil was gone, could'nt help myself but choked on my own tears when he played "Parissiene walkways & now he's also gone.....
wether it was with Lizzy, G force, or all the other solo albums you produced, you were an exceptional musician. you will be sorely missed. But we still have the music, and it will live on. R.I.P
@theawakener7 - I hear you!!! Gary had the rare ability to combine monster technique and speed with real emotion and soulfulness. Nauseef is awesome on this album--loved him on Gillan's Clear Air Turbulence, too!
My best friend is Willie Daffern - lead singer from Capt. Beyond and on G-Force w/ the great Gary... Willie's heart must be splitting at this news... so sad... so blue...
Always thought this was a great track (and a good album). Saw G-Force in London at the time. There wasn't much chemistry on stage and the lead singer leaped about like an ape, which didn't help in the visuals department!

Just fucking brilliant.
I got this album in 1980, I couldn't believe the intensity of the guitar playing. The solo on this song is so physical you can almost touch it.
Filled up a bit as soon as i heard this tbh, but big boys don't cry.....
