i loved this movie because it did what the '03 Hulk didn't and what the '08 Hulk did which is show that Bruce Banner and the Hulk were two different beings, which is why they were able to be separated. Classic Dr. Jekel/Mr. Hyde type story.

Thor wins 10/10 battles with Hulk. His talents are just too many. He has physical strength that can rival the most powerful characters in Marvel. Also being able to control the weather is a huge plus for him. If he lifts 100 tons effortlessly, imagine what he would be lifting with strain? He'll be lifting entire galaxies. He's been shown lifting objects as heavy as the earth which is far more than hundreds of billions of tons. Also he can't be parted from Mjolnir, he has complete control over it
Most of their battles were inconclusive in the comics. They generally fight to a standtill. If Hulk's anger was at Green Scar level he could probably outlast Thor like he did to the Sentry. Altogether, Hulk really is the strongest there is.

Thor and Odin are gods in Norse Mythology. Whether you like the idea or not, it has been around for a VERY long time. Of course they are stronger than superhero's, cause they are gods. I find it a bit ridiculous that some green man hopped up on PCP could take on Thor, much less anyone in Valhalla.

When Thor vs Hulk came out, I was, like, "What's the point? Thor isn't that special when it comes to fighting with Hulk." I was thinking they should try Juggernaut vs Hulk, it makes more sense that way.

Actually, Sentry was originally made to be a comment how most people chose to forget about the golden age of comics, thinking of them as inferior and not worth mentioning and how all the rewrites go on and shit.
He was original meant to be a symbol against forgetting about the roots of comic book superheroes, sort of a character based in the tradition of golden age stuff.
But then other writers got a hold of him and just used him as a character instead of a symbol. (Besides Greg Pak)

A few flaws. First off, Hulk wont let Supes grab him. Supes grabbed him before and Hulk broke loose, then punched Supes to Jupiter. Look it up. Second. Hulk can adapt to space. Look it up. Third, Hulk Smashes. The angrier Hulk gets the madder Hulk gets, eventually he will kill Superman.
Well, the Hulk does tend to view almost anything, at least what doesn't let him go peacefully and leave him alone, as a threat. And anything that feels threatening to him is what the Hulk fights.

Besides the Thing, Thor is the Hulk's greatest hero rival. Hulk has beaten some of the most powerful beings in Marvel like Gladiator,Sentry,Onslaught,Hyperion,Juggernaut and Hercules. The only hero in Marvel that Hulk has NEVER held a victory over is the Silver Surfer. The power cosmic is too great for Hulk to handle.

The avengers dvd is not the main 616 marvel universe. Hulk has never lifted Mjolnir in 616 main universe for 40 years and I doubt that he ever will because he has to be worthy of it.
Sorry he hasn't never has I just recently sold all of my Thor collection in which I had all of his run from J.I.M 83 to the recent vol 3 of JMS Thor, I also had of all the published fights and again not one where he lifted Mjolnir with the enchanment was on it. He only lifted it once in J.I.M 112 when Thor asked Odin to remove the enchantment for 5 min to fight Hulk without fear into turning into Blake.
the only time i've seen the Hulk lift Mjolnir is in the Ultimate Avengers DVD movie. It takes him a lil while but he picks it up and launches it @ thor. but you're right, you have to be worthy to lift it. it has nothing to do with the weight of the hammer

Sentry is a load of shit, I'm a huge fan of the marvel universe, but to me he appears to be some superman rip off and Marvel trying to boost his name up the ranks on peoples favorites and it's not happening. All he does is whine and cry about dumb shit...Thor's sexy ass could beat the hell out of him, and all he would do is cry.
He's disgrace to Marvel's bloody name.
On the other hand Thor is a force to be admired.

Actually, Sentry was originally made to be a comment how most people chose to forget about the golden age of comics, thinking of them as inferior and not worth mentioning and how all the rewrites go on and shit.
He was original meant to be a symbol against forgetting about the roots of comic book superheroes, sort of a character based in the tradition of golden age stuff.
But then other writers got a hold of him and just used him as a character instead of a symbol. (Besides Greg Pak)

A few flaws. First off, Hulk wont let Supes grab him. Supes grabbed him before and Hulk broke loose, then punched Supes to Jupiter. Look it up. Second. Hulk can adapt to space. Look it up. Third, Hulk Smashes. The angrier Hulk gets the madder Hulk gets, eventually he will kill Superman.

Well, the Hulk does tend to view almost anything, at least what doesn't let him go peacefully and leave him alone, as a threat. And anything that feels threatening to him is what the Hulk fights.

this movie is the equivilant of a "what if" comic. What if hulk was more powerful than thor. Thank God this would never happen in the comics. (jeph loeb as a writer is the exeption.)

Hulk has always beaten thor. In The new hulk series the first time red hulk beath hulk because he fell off the bridge under a pile of rocks. Thor didnt lose like that thors hits didnt really do anything to red hulk. Then red hulk beat the mess out of thor. The only reason thor got hits on red hulk is beacause hulk took the red hulk out. So basiclly if thor cant beat red hulk and hulk can then hulk would beat thor.

I dunno much about the marvel universe but...if thor could easily beat hulk then there wouldnt really be a need for a 45 minute movie about it, unless its all buildup til thor lightening bolts the hulk. which would suck. The movie suggests that thor at least struggles against the hulk, and vice versa. BTW i hate thors voice actor

What's up with all of these dumb ass comments about Hulk losing to Thor because he's a god? Do you guys even read comics? Hulk has beaten Thor many times and vice versa. Besides the Thing, Thor is the Hulk's greatest hero rival. Hulk has beaten some of the most powerful beings in Marvel like Gladiator,Sentry,Onslaught,Hyperion,Juggernaut and Hercules. The only hero in Marvel that Hulk has NEVER held a victory over is the Silver Surfer. The power cosmic is too great for Hulk to handle.

Thor has also beatin Hulk. Not to mention, at one point, Thor killed EVERY marvel character, including the Hulk.
Both the Hulk and Thor's stregth changes depending on the writer, but I like to think their on even terms. Perhaps with Thor having the slight advantage.

The avengers dvd is not the main 616 marvel universe. Hulk has never lifted Mjolnir in 616 main universe for 40 years and I doubt that he ever will because he has to be worthy of it.

Sorry he hasn't never has I just recently sold all of my Thor collection in which I had all of his run from J.I.M 83 to the recent vol 3 of JMS Thor, I also had of all the published fights and again not one where he lifted Mjolnir with the enchanment was on it. He only lifted it once in J.I.M 112 when Thor asked Odin to remove the enchantment for 5 min to fight Hulk without fear into turning into Blake.

the only time i've seen the Hulk lift Mjolnir is in the Ultimate Avengers DVD movie. It takes him a lil while but he picks it up and launches it @ thor. but you're right, you have to be worthy to lift it. it has nothing to do with the weight of the hammer
