  • Professor to Student "what is stupidity ?" Student "Absence of intelligence" Professor "I rest my case"

  • Totally agree with you. Most if not all "Christian emails" irk me for very similar reasons.

  • Can you describe what Jesus looked like, in his original form when he was on earth? Did you ever see Jesus in a dream?

  • Well tell Jesus to help the millions of children who die of starvation every year.

  • @autodex2000 50% of all the food produced in America is wasted. It's NOT Jesus fault if someone starves. It's OURS.

  • @fotm1 Yes it is. Jesus (God) created everything. Meaning everything ever and always. Meaning future, past, and present. That means that god decided to make us waste food.

  • @thethreefageteers Doesn't work like that. There are things that we do for which WE are guilty. You can blame everything on God.

  • @fotm1 God created everything, right?

  • @fotm1 Out of curiosity, what did god create then?

  • @thethreefageteers God did not create your bad choices. God did not create your decision to kick your dog. God did not create Monsanto's decision to wreck the food chain. That He made us with FREEWILL means that WE have to accept responsibility for the outcomes of OUR bad decisions. We waste food because we are selfish, inconsiderate, greedy, careless, listen to demons or otherwise.

You don't get to credit YOU for good stuff (love, art, music, kindness) and then blame all the bad stuff on God.

  • @noreligion777 For a more in depth short study on this subject, I highly recommond Dr. Jones' books: The Purpose of Law and Grace, The Problem of Evil, and esp Free Will Versus Ownership. Just go to Gods-Kingdom-Ministries (dot) org. Click books under the teachings tab.

  • Its really amazing people shape thier world view around Bronze aged beliefs. Get used to the idea of eternal nothingness bc thats were all of us are headed

  • @autodex2000 Nope. Jesus is real. I met Him.

  • According to the bible you couldn't pee without it hitting empirical physical evidence, people getting eaten by fish and living, unicorns demons and giants as plentiful as McDonald's god opening up sky screaming boogey woogey laying down commandments and raking the land with war and disease, earth quakes fires and floods, you name it. Now you couldn't get him to levitate a lamp........ after he had his kid he really mellowed out and got lazy eh?

  • @shadowshifter7 There's no indication that I can find in the Bible that He ever DID levitate lamps.

  • @fotm1 Sure ill take a massive pillar of fire, or him ripping open sky......better to start small lifting a lamp is just far to arrogant of me to assume that he can do..... my apologies.

  • @fotm1 The problem is I cannot open a little panel inside of peoples head to playback accurate "testimony" I have heard the testimony of many religions, a vivid dream or a sudden "cure" from cancer or addiction is not proof either, we all know dreams are not always the truth if that is the case then Freddy Kruger is real, Cancer can go into remission and those who prayed for a cure only have their testimony because they survived the other 80% who prayed just did not live to tell.....

  • I'm NOT buying into any of this stuff AT ALL....

    Sorry Doug !

  • @WILDLEGHORN Why say you're sorry when you don't mean it? It's just double-minded. I don't really believe you're sorry that you don't believe it, so don't apologize.

I'm not sorry that you disagree with me. Not the least little bit. I mean, I'm sorry FOR you. But I'm not sorry about you disagreeing. You're gonna have to pick a team sooner or later and stop skirting around the edges being lukewarm. Stop stalking around the perimeter and push all your chips onto the table. One way or another.

  • @fotm1 Sorry for the late reply!

But I'm gonna tell you what most rational person would say-

    Extraordinary Claims Require Extraordinary Evidence

And from what I've heard & seen of you on YT, there's definitely no chance that I'll even consent to a 50% chance of that!

You may think Jesus is not at all extraordinary & that it's only NATURAL for everybody to see/hear/feel/touch him but the thing is if you were to walk to the nearest Asylum, you'd probably find a whole crowd of people just like you

  • @fotm1 Plz don't misunderstand me doug, I'm just not a hater, I would never be !

I've watched all your videos & I always try to leave a positive & civil response as much I can !

    Watch this video:

    Youtube(DOT)com/watch?v=Jy_tGkQrreg

I think that video pretty much expresses what I wanted to say !

I'm NOT at all saying that you never heard/felt/seen/tasted god, what I am saying is that you've given me no proof/evidence so far, about what you're saying !

    Eagerly awaiting your reply

    Thx

  • @WILDLEGHORN You have been pleasant. I'll give you that. :-) Thanks.

As for evidence, it's God's job to convince ME - & He did. It's HIS job to convince YOU. It's MY job to share my testimony. I expect to have people doubt me. Maybe the day will come He'll let me videotape demonic possessions or healings - but I don't expect that to convince some people either. There's plenty of that already on uTube. They'll excuse it away however they like if they don't want to hear. I just do as I'm told.

  • Ah, so much persecution on the comments. I pray that the lord blesses you 1000% for each comment made against you.

  • you are seriously deluded my friend, if you hear voices then you need to get some help

  • @autodex2000 Or maybe something is seriously wrong with YOU because you can't hear the voice of God. Or you hear it and purposely ignore it. Or you hear it and mistake it for something else. But I don't think I have a problem. It's YOUR deficiency of hearing that's the problem.

  • question.. is someone being an atheist part of God's plan? (predestination).. if so, is it his/her fault? Romans 9 has been one of the hardest passages i've read (as in hard to accept)

  • @noreligion777 Yes. God works everything by His will. He blinds atheists, thus binds Himself by His law to set them free for the sake of their eyes. Hence He sent His Son Jesus Christ, the Lamb that takes away the sin of the world.

God is responsible, but we are still liable. It's a master/slave, father/son relationship. This is best seen in business/military. Responsibility always lies on the highest in command, despite the fault of subordinates.

    Also, read Romans 3, esp v 5-6.

  • all i can say really is this video should prove without a dought why we need a better education system. but that aside. i'd love to see all the people come to the supreme court to tell thier storys and i guess make him legaly real. pls do that. i could use a good laugh. said it would be easy. pls do it. even that aside. we could still prove he had a brain. the kids argument was totaly flawed. im sorry people don't understand the world and need an easy answer. but unsolved=god? really? pls stop

  • True that, testimonies > arguing!

  • one atheist and one deist dislikes this video

  • I enjoyed this video very much!!:) I see God everyday!!! But only when my eyes are open. :)

  • blah blah blah .... the student say something wise LOL I am sure you filter what ever you hear so that it comes out exactly as you need it, so that your "world view" is supported LOL what a moron

  • @givingmantoo Backatcha.

  • @fotm1 Of course, part the brainwashing is this form of transference. You know deep down that you are just twist things to fit your box and so in order to justify that, you transfer that same onto others. Sad brainwashed shit

  • @givingmantoo Backatcha.

  • @givingmantoo Am i just living waiting to die? why im i on this earth? is this the why life is, nothing else to it? is there really a God, can i say no for sure? what if im wrong? what if God really love me and want to take me away from this evil place. is there more to live that i dont know? do i want to know these things,im i fooling myself? do i need to truly seek God to find these things out. do i really want to know these things? why im i afraid to seek God? God love you pll!

  • @classiq876 Do you realize how stupid your are? They only show the very narrow and ignorant thinking given to too many people by church leaders ...

  • A theory in science is defined as something that explains lots of evidence, makes predictions, and has no disproving evidence.

  • God did NOT create evil, cos if He did then He would have to commit evil Himself, but that's impossible.

Now, the word 'evil' has different definitions depending on how it is used in the Bible. When God said He created evil, He meant that He punishes us or allows bad things to happen to wicked people - that's the evil...He does not create evil by commiting it but He is using evil (tool of punishment eg. tsunami, illness etc) or evil (carried out by demonic activities in wicked people's lives).

  • DID A GOOD JOB ON THE VIDEO. I KNOW FOR A FACT GOD TALKS TO PEOPLE. I PRAY MANY WILL WAKE UP TO THE VOICE OF GOD. WE WILL KEEP PRAYING FOR YOU. AND SOON WE WILL BE VISITING YOU. SAY HELLO TO BROTHER J. HE IS A TROOPER. THANKS FOR LISTENING TO THE LORD AND SHARING,CARING.

  • Hey I don't want to be rude and I'd like to make a comment. Most of you"eye witness testimony of god was about alarm bells ringing, phones ringing, strange bumps, etc. To me these sound like random things that happen all the time that you interpret as messages or confirmations of your own ideas.

It is my suspicion that when people speak of god they are really talking about themselves in the third person.

    Interesting video. Thanks.

  • @Danmill23 Did you miss - seen Him, felt Him, heard flowers sing, been to heaven, gave people to the penny what God told me for their electric bill? I don't get how you just gloss over that stuff and fixate on the THREE examples of phone, alarm and bumping. Never mind that in the bumping incident I ALSO talk about hearing God. If you want hundreds of more examples of the non-ringing/bumping variety, I'll be glad to oblige or watch my Doug's Big Trip videos or the demon/angel stories videos.

  • 27:00 The evil that God creates is different than the evil humankind creates. God's evil is the infliction of calamity in righteous judgement of sin. Humankind's evil is defiance to a holy and righteous God. God is not the direct cause of all evil but He is still the ultimate cause of everything since everything started from Him. Before I met Christ I was agnostic. I wrote paper in philosophy refuting the existence of God and received an A. God eventually humbled me with His righteous judgement.

  • I think that happen to my cousin she died at her own baptism. She received Jesus the Sunday before. The next Sunday, right before she stepped into the pool, she had a heart attack. She was afraid of large bodies of water. She was only in her 30's. There were a lot of "coincidences" about her death. I was wondering if seeing a light behind my eyes as someone laid hands on me counted as seeing God or the Holy Spirit?

  • Always challenged by your videos. Thanks.

  • Instead of showing the love of God to believers of Islam they instead just seek out to tell them that they are wrong minus the loving part.

  • You have to overcome, and that is rebutting a persumption with other evidence.

  • Your point reminds me of a lot of Christians who believe that it is the will of God or Christians to bash Islam.

  • I want personal experiences with God too...

  • @fotm1 "Where did they come from?" "Where did that come from?" "Who made that?" Hilarious!

  • @fotm1 keep doing what you're doing!

  • Amen! I have people ask why I believe....I say because I've met Him, spoke with Him, and I have even smelt Him.....but it always comes back to logic versus experience with most....I just laugh to myself and try to explain that our human logic is nothing compared to God...that it is ridiculous to even debate about such matters....

  • You seem to like to refer to a court of law when deciding who would win you or the atheist. You presume the rules it uses over a court much more reliable, the court of science. It does not matter how many people claim their is a god. It does not make it any more real. Just like in science. What matters is the evidence they can provide.

You really should see a therapist over those things you say you are experiencing.

  • @proatheism I suggested the courts of law, because to THOSE people that seems to carry some weight. It does NOT to me. Neither does democracy or majority rule of any kind. It does not matter how many people claim there is no God. It does not make Him any less real. What matters is if they can convince me that I did NOT see what I saw.

But I appreciate how much faith you have in your position.

  • @fotm1

Is it faith from my perspective when your experiences are not discernible from Charles Manson's?

  • @proatheism Yes, it is faith, because it ain't FACT. It's downright insulting is what it is, twisted to fit your worldview and framed in the worst possible way. Did Charles Manson feed 5,000 people a month, sell all he had and gave it to the poor, preach love and nonviolence and hope for a better day?

Maybe your perspective is not discernible from Stalin, Mao and other atheists that murdered 100 million Christians in the last 100 years. Do you like YOUR name in the same sentence as theirs?

  • @fotm1

Faith is not the opposite of fact. I can beyond a reasonable doubt come to the conclusion Charles Manson is wrong regardless of the convictions of his experiences. Just because you did certain deeds in your life (good or bad) does not mean differentiate your experiences from his. Yes they were atheists, but they did not do it because of atheism. You are merely presenting a red hearing bringing this up, as you often do.

  • @proatheism So, everybody that hears voices is Charles Manson - and any murderous, despicable thing that an atheist does can NEVER be because he was an atheist. That's a REALLY handy rule you've set up.

So tell me how you can "beyond a reasonable doubt" come to the conclusion that I am wrong. Please disprove all of my experiences.

In the meantime, I'm going to continue believing that atheism is a RELIGION and that Stalin/Mao and others DID murder because of atheism (and being demonized).

  • @fotm1

You are like him in that hearing voices is not normal. It has been explained to you several times. Its like blaming non-stamp collectors if a non-stamp collector kills someone. I don't have to disprove anything just like with Charles Manson. It is you that must provide evidence for your experiences. I know you will. Demonizing the enemy is another symptom of Schizophrenia and cults.

  • @fotm1 Amen brother, Amen

  • Doug bless you, I love your stories with the father :-)

  • lots of people say they heard god, even hindu gods and so forth. witness / testimonial, what good does it really do?

why should i believe a christians supposed eyewitness experience over another religious persons supposed eyewitness experience?

and what if one or both of them are actually victimized by demons appearing in the shape of God / Jesus, etc ?

do you have an answer ?

  • @Dadutta You should learn to test the spirits, and you should ask God to prove HIMSELF to you so that you don't have to rely on second or third-hand testimony yourself. I don't expect you to believe me. It's not my job to save you. It's GOD'S job. It's my job to speak the truth in love and share my testimony.

The Bible says to test the FRUIT. Does this voice/apparition/etc. drive people to be more or less like Jesus (peace, patience, kindness, gentleness, self-control, joy, LOVE, etc.).
