Ns2 has become a slop house full of ridiculousness. It was a good paper idea, but the implementation was (and still is) far too weak to keep a healthy community running. Yes, it has made it past a year and more, but the community itself is decaying. It has become more of a "let's race to see how fast we can get to 100k posts" sort of deal. Sorry, but i've lost faith in Ns2 and mostly nintendo

Besides, my ps3 can outperform my wii hands down. :^D

While none of the Nsider replacements do Oldsider justice, NS2 is the closest thing the Internet has. I'll take what I can get.

NSider was created in 2003, and "the dawn of video games" was not "just beginning" in 2003. ;)

But I can tell you put a lot of effort into this, and the result was good. Nice job.

Sonic the Hedgehog for the PlayStation 3 and XBox 360 sucks, though. I played it, and Sonic kisses a human chick... What the heck?

I don't know. They might be doing a major update for the site to actually support the 3,000 members who are post there.

I'm going to wait a day or so before making any assumptions. :D

Epic video... The music, the images, everything was awesome! =) Absolutly loved it. Nsider was full of phisers, Sony spammers, bad icons, stupid limits, stupid users, stupid NOAs who didn't reply our questions... Nsider2 was made BY Nsiders, FOR Nsiders! =D The only thing Nsider1 had that Nsider2 didn't, was the fact that it was the original. XD In any other way, 2 > 1

The past Nsider did have it's problems...it was not the NOAs fault however: they had so many duties with other things, that they couldn't have possibly have kept up with the demands of a community of 200,000+ members.

But NOA_Legal is to blame, in my opinion. :D It was the higher ups who imposed all these restrictions on us (such as no friend code sharing, ect).

It depends on the circumstances.

If it is a Wii/DS ONLY community, not many people will have the luxury to go back. (I won't either...) Then, we will have to depend on forums like these in order to talk about Nintendo games. :O
