you cant compare the wings to the yankees. simply because the wings drafted most of their star players. zetterberg, datsyuk, lidstrom, holmstrom, franzen, osgood, kronwall, etc. were all drafted by the wings.

yankees just buy people

plus about 6 mill a year for zetterberg isnt really alotof money for one of the top 5 players in hockey today
