i believe it was a lipsync.

1) Tiffany's second voice during the second chorus sounds exactly the same as the recorded one (with some echoes).

2) Taeyeon's part, too (near the end of the song) sounds exactly the same as the recorded one, and she was dancing while doing that (live performances she just merely stands and bends his body to reach the high notes because it is hard to)

3) Do you think, after all of the dances in the middle, they can still sing that well without even breathing hard?

Thats why newbie artist sorta suck when they play live and the ones that have been doing it for while perform better.

Artists tend to lip sync if :

1) The sound system is bad or screwing up or

2) The dance moves in the song would make the live singing hard to hear

So, they can lip sync if necessary. No need to make such a big deal out of it, they sing live when its possible.

It just saves them the energy to perform for those songs where they can't lipsync. But, I agree, this performance is definitely lipsynced; I was there, and you can so tell. But I like SNSD anyway :) (don't kill me SOnes; I'm not a fan, but I'm not an anti either).
