They didn't put their "essence" there, so it's just a normal cover, not a version.
I don't know much about this thing of covers and versions, but I think they should change the music according to their style and skills or, at least, put on the title "Cover of Queen by Glee - Bohemian Rhapsody" or something like that

May I ask why did they make this? They're singing as close as possible to Freddie Mercury
They didn't put their "essence" there, so it's just a normal cover, not a version.
I don't know much about this thing of covers and versions, but I think they should change the music according to their style and skills or, at least, put on the title "Cover of Queen by Glee - Bohemian Rhapsody" or something like that
I know this music is pretty well-known, but it still needs to give the credit to Queen :)

if im going to be completly honest, im not very fond of this version. its not awful or anything, but. . . . . to me it seems that the singers try too hard to be spot on with the original's chord progression. also it seems like they are just generally trying WAAAY too hard to sing this. but i DO give them credit, this song isnt easy to sing AT ALL. . . .i know, i've tried (lol). but it seems they need to underplay it a bit. overall, its not that bad, but its probably still the worst version.

If Glee kept doing covers of 'recent' songs then it would all be the same. But because they do a range of recent and old songs it gives a bigger variety and attracts a bigger audience. I love Queen and I love Glee.. and this cover is actually one of the best i've heard.

What do some people have against the show? Ok, it's true that not every song is a good as the original, but that's not what the show is about, and I bet that that's now what they're trying to do. These people you call "haters", are actually people that have loved Queen since the 70's. And were just really unhappy with this. Besides, Glee needs to stick to covering recent pop songs. Not Highway To Hell, Bohemian Rhapsody, etc.
