There are multiple cration myths, but this is one that both the jewish then christian follow, if I am not mistaken Islam might accept that as well, hopefully someone will know.

The tree of the knowledge of good and evil. The name reveals that the good known by Adam and Eve before they ate the fruit was a different kind of good. it was divine good. the knowledge of good that the tree provided was human good which God rejects along with evil or sin.

Hey wertssss1234, You have to understand what the tree of knowledge of good and evil was. It was basically "the law" a focus on YOUR good and YOUR evil. If you focus on your good deeds, you become self-righteous and prideful. If you focus on your evil deeds you come under condemnation and shame. God meant for us to eat from the tree of life only, which is JESUS, because we can never be good enough on our own, we can only have eternal life and happiness in communion and dependence on HIM.

I don't agree Man or woman doesn't need some 2000 year old book telling them how to live their lives. I'm an atheist and I choose to be good by personal choice not on the say or teachings of a bronze age man form 2000 years ago.
