Go GIRRRLLS, more love and especially EQUAL RIGHTS and JUSTICE. A lie cannot live, stop discriminating against the wombyn, we ALL came from our MOTHER'S WOMB! Earthlings came from he same womb in Tanzania, Africa, reparations are due from media, federally funded arts programs and especially honorary doctorates and collegiate honors. Time for full RESPECT, JUSTICE not JUST US, BAD BWOI'S of JAZZ! Human rights violation carry NO STATUTE of LIMITATION, keep earning, the world cannot afford to pay!
I'm rhythmbluessoul who left a message about Ada Leonard a few months back, I would love to know more about Ada Leonard. You can send me a private message if you like.
I love watching Ada's shows. She was quite a performer. My Father and Ada were inseparable throughout life, and always had stories to tell at get-togethers. I've noticed, and am always amazed at how many different generations have seen her work, and appreciate her talent. She was a wonderful person with a heart of gold. And Jo... you had the honor of using her sax in grade school band. Bet you didn't know that. DAD
Talented musicians led by one of the finest (and rather unsung) show-women in American entertainment history--back in the spotlight on YouTube. Nice one, thegeoff101!
I love Ada Leonard, I love how she led the band with such grace, poise, and glamour. I was taken with her the first time I saw her. I wish there were more soundies of her or recordings. Ada was a beauty! She had such class, hard to believe she was once a stripper! She could also have been a movie star, she had the beauty, mystique, class, and sex appeal, her beauty could rival Ava Gardner, Hedy Lamarr, Linda Darnll, Gene Tierney, Lana Turner, you name it. I would love to know more about Ada?
@rhythmbluessoul - My Aunt left me with fond memories and head full of her stories about life in show biz. I always looked foreward to seeing her. I'd be happy to tell what I can remember. ~Jim Leonard~ 17w205obt

My mom is in this band she's the blond trumpet player next to the drummers left. She was just discovered in High school, I think she's about 17 here.
