There still is a movement and I know of several online communities where BBW's and BHM are celebrated! I really enjoyed these video's y'all put out.. it's exactly how I feel.. I never lie about my weight.. I'm 318lbs and 6'.. I'm female.. just by seeing that wt one would think "fat".. and yup, I am.. but I'm also very athletic, can bench 225lbs and squat 400lbs.. I've gone much further in life being a strong "fat" girl, than I ever could have being a normal size.. b ur self.. glad I am
In the beginning, Joy points out that "diet and exercise are vital". If you're naturally slim and overweight, then your body's out of whack and that needs to be changed. But if you're eating moderately and being active and you still aren't skinny, there's nothing wrong with you.

I am not fat nor have I ever been...however some of the people that I find attractive and beautiful are indeed considered fat and unattractive by social standards. I have had people tell me that I have "bizarre" taste because of that. I think it's ridiculous. I am a grown individual, I can form my own opinions as to what beautiful is.
Here's the deal. The heaviest I've ever been in my entire life was 190 pounds. And there is this guy that I have been dating for close to two years now (two in July) who dated me while I was around 185-190. He always told me I was beautiful, even at THAT size. I lost most of the weight and now weigh around 143 (trying to firm up and lose more now, btw), and when I ask him if he notices a difference, he says he doesn't. When my old friends come up to me and tell me I look great, they do. Why?
two possibilities either he isn't very observant. OR, if he tells you he notices a difference than in his head he is saying you look better now than you did then which is to say you didn't look beautiful when you two were going out....you ask a guy that question and it intimidately registers as a trap. a good guy will tell you you look beautiful no matter what but when you start to get in shape we don't know wtf to do cus what if you gain the weight back? than what is he gonna say?

When I was fat, I found heavy girls more appealing. I lost some weight (66 lbs) and begun weightlifting, now I find fittness girls the most attractive. Funny how that goes.

...the only thing I could agree with is that believing that you are attractive comes from self-esteem, which ANYONE can lack in.
Big women, thin women, it doesn't matter. Anyone can be ugly. Anyone can be attractive. Inside or out.
I have seen some very pretty fat people... but they were "largely built", not really fat. There's a difference from being "big" and being "fat".

Thank you so much for taking the time to post this video response. You are an amazing individual. I wish that more people in today's society were like you. I am not fat nor have I ever been...however some of the people that I find attractive and beautiful are indeed considered fat and unattractive by social standards. I have had people tell me that I have "bizarre" taste because of that. I think it's ridiculous. I am a grown individual, I can form my own opinions as to what beautiful is.

Here's the deal. The heaviest I've ever been in my entire life was 190 pounds. And there is this guy that I have been dating for close to two years now (two in July) who dated me while I was around 185-190. He always told me I was beautiful, even at THAT size. I lost most of the weight and now weigh around 143 (trying to firm up and lose more now, btw), and when I ask him if he notices a difference, he says he doesn't. When my old friends come up to me and tell me I look great, they do. Why?

two possibilities either he isn't very observant. OR, if he tells you he notices a difference than in his head he is saying you look better now than you did then which is to say you didn't look beautiful when you two were going out....you ask a guy that question and it intimidately registers as a trap. a good guy will tell you you look beautiful no matter what but when you start to get in shape we don't know wtf to do cus what if you gain the weight back? than what is he gonna say?

Abs are awesome I drool seeing those washboard abs. Doesn't matter, its pure lust. I like to describe lust as sugar. I think you get the idea. I've met some wonderful guys, I completely fall for them and their physical appearance is not what I fall for, when you're deeply attracted to a person it all comes together. People tend to date their own size.
When I was fat, I found heavy girls more appealing. I lost some weight (66 lbs) and begun weightlifting, now I find fittness girls the most attractive. Funny how that goes.
Anyways, It's all about mindsett. If youre confident and feel good about yourself, have a positive outlook on life, that's basicly what matters.

I weighed 220 in high school, and I was considered obese. I was MVP on our varsity cheer squad, I played Varsity tennis first singles, I ran, ate healthy, and had perfect health--and still do.
