One of the best things about germany is it's people.Hitler was just a crazy shithouse rat but he will never be an indication of how germans are.Wonderful country and people and they love all forms of jazz.This in an excellent movie with such a good cast.Even if you can't swing dance and I can't,it's still so much fun to watch those that do.

Lol, I so agree! Whatever happened to jazz and swing? Heheh, I'm not a huge hip-hop follower, because I'm into music that has more of a... melody. But my buddies are, and it's not so bad, but I definitely prefer music like this. It's livelier and quirkier!

people do listen to swing (and bebop and jazz) today...in fact LA/ west coast has had a thriving neo-Swing scene since the mid 90s, while new york enjoys a burgeoning swing scene (along with burlesque an art form often believed to be over looked). as a hip hop head i take umbrage to your statement. hip hop has always sampled jazz/bebop and have always given it credit for coursing through its veins. check out the soundtrack to the last time i committed suicide for a nice sampling of swing/jazz.

Yes indeed they have modern clubs like that. I run a swing club myself at University of Mobile. We play several of the songs from this movie. Like in this song, how they're doing the charleston and they do the pause, we get like a whole line of people doing that to this song,
