I just recently got a red C180 Esprit pretty much the same as the red one in this ad, paid $2,000 Australian Dollars for it, and what a great car it is. Its just rolled past 264,000klms this week and not one single thing wrong with it. Very nice to drive :)

It's the same generation(W202), but 98 models on are called "facelifted" or phase 2. From the outside you can notice bumpers, wheels and tailights are different, the radio antenna is now incorporated to the rear window, the sunroof is now glass, on the inside door panels, seats and steering wheels are different, there are many tech improvements such as smartkey, 5speed auto trans, traction control... unavaiable on "phase 1". Look for "w202 development" video here on youtube and you'll notice it.
