@silkcat51 its not dystonia, it must be something else because dystonia is neurological, and the magnitude of her case would take at least 2 years to notice much of a difference and it gets fixed in a month. and she could walk backwards and not forwards. dystonia makes youre muscles contract but she is still using the same muscles and same nerves to walk back. it was probably something else. nerve endings dont just magically fix especially with dystonia.

What I've been hearing from the medical community is that the main danger is that no one has any real resistance to it. Even though the current virus is not horrendous, if enough people become infected and just one strain evolves into something worse, than we could have a horrendous pandemic on hand which almost everyone could catch.
If more people have the shot, than fewer hosts, and fewer chances of mutation.
The only reason I am concerned about this issue is the massive divide developing between popular opinion and the historical success of vaccination programs.
I'm not arguing for giant corporate interest, listening to the government, or untested/unsafe vaccine programs - I'm simply scared that we might toss away a technique of training the human immune system which has saved millions of lives, perhaps billions through out history.

I know. Let's go back to the days of NO vaccinations. Many people don't get turburcleosis anymore because of stronger immunity systems. When your parents survive something and you drink their breast milk you become more resistant to the things they suffered through. Remember what else science has taught us. Evolution and we're constantly evolving.

True, not everyone gets vaccinated. And yes you can still get some of the diseases mentioned. Does that mean we should stop getting routine vaccinations and allow them to flourish? And hate to break it to you, but not everyone is breastfed (MANY people are not) and therefore do not receive the immunity passed from parents. No breastmilk - no transferred immunity.
Meltn, I understand that not everyone gets breastfed (though they should) but the point is POSSIBILITIES it's ridiculous that they want everyone to get vaccinated. There's a chance this could happen. Although I'm no expert in the field like you may be, it is quite "bold" of you to call those of us who choose to not practice medicine as heavily or as frequent as you migh, as "selfish" and "cowardly". Who said that you had to get some vaccine to stop the flu? If you guys knew anything outside the realm of everyday medicine, you would know preventative natural measures are much more important. Those of you who skip immunizations (IMZ) are depending on "herd immunity" to keep you from getting sick. (That is depending on your neighbor's IMZ to keep the contagion down). A selfish cowardly way to take advantage of other's selflessness.

@silkcat51 its not dystonia, it must be something else because dystonia is neurological, and the magnitude of her case would take at least 2 years to notice much of a difference and it gets fixed in a month. and she could walk backwards and not forwards. dystonia makes youre muscles contract but she is still using the same muscles and same nerves to walk back. it was probably something else. nerve endings dont just magically fix especially with dystonia.

OMG... can't believe she would put herself though all this. Inside Edition did a follow up on her. Hidden camera show her walking normally, playing with her dogs normally, and even drive. This girl can't even stop her symptoms while the camera are on. But when they're off. Her symptoms don't reappear. Then she said she was cure. There are no know cure for Dystonia as of yet. But then while the camera were rolling. Her symptoms came back and she was about to drive home from the mall.

How many could die if the virus mutates into something worse?
What I've been hearing from the medical community is that the main danger is that no one has any real resistance to it. Even though the current virus is not horrendous, if enough people become infected and just one strain evolves into something worse, than we could have a horrendous pandemic on hand which almost everyone could catch.
If more people have the shot, than fewer hosts, and fewer chances of mutation.

The only reason I am concerned about this issue is the massive divide developing between popular opinion and the historical success of vaccination programs.
I'm not arguing for giant corporate interest, listening to the government, or untested/unsafe vaccine programs - I'm simply scared that we might toss away a technique of training the human immune system which has saved millions of lives, perhaps billions through out history.

The problem with the medical community - especially pharma - is that they can't be trusted.
There is substantial evidence that the whole "swine flu" virus and others are deliberately manufactured and then spread by these pharma corporations.
Want to sell something, make sure there's a demand for it, and if there isn't, create the demand yourself - just don't get caught.

Heck the H1N1 variant had an outbreak in 1918, *decades* before anybody was making flu vaccines.
I don't know what evidence you have that people are engineering new flu variants, but the flu is behaving the same way now as it was over the centuries leading up to the advent of flu vaccines.
However, the death tolls *have* dropped-off significantly; it has been decades since the last time the flu killed millions.

Here is another video about this woman and her sudden condition explained by a professional -- he states quite clearly that she does not appear to have Dystonia but, a psychogenic movement disorder. You can still get malaria, tuberculosis, tetanus (not everyone got their shots), rabies, chickenpox, etc. You ignored my post completely. Many people don't get turburcleosis anymore because of stronger immunity systems. When your parents survive something and you drink their breast milk you become more resistant to the things they suffered through. Remember what else science has taught us. True, not everyone gets vaccinated. And yes you can still get some of the diseases mentioned. Does that mean we should stop getting routine vaccinations and allow them to flourish? And hate to break it to you, but not everyone is breastfed (MANY people are not) and therefore do not receive the immunity passed from parents. No breastmilk - no transferred immunity.

Meltn, I understand that not everyone gets breastfed (though they should) but the point is POSSIBILITIES it's ridiculous that they want everyone to get vaccinated. There's a chance this could happen. There's also a chance that it may not. There's also a chance you could get the flu and not get the flu. If I don't want to risk these effects I shouldn't have to. Truth be told they may try to force everyone to get them. If someone wants to risk getting sick let them. I'm not saying remove vaccines.

The doctors only gave her medication, and the will usually say that more tests and other things were neede. Out of desperation, my mom travel overseas to get treatment. Sorry but we don't live longer these days than 150 years ago due to vaccinations. Have you forgotten a little something that science has taught us that everyone in the media seems to be trying to get us to forget? When you're born and you drink your mother's breast milk you gain her immunities. Therefore, each generation is more resilient than the previous. It's a process of evolution. We live longer because what our parents suffered from we have more resistance too. Vaccines aren't the cause.

Who said that you had to get some vaccine to stop the flu? If you guys knew anything outside the realm of everyday medicine, you would know preventative natural measures are much more important. I don't trust these doctors, half their medicine are faulty or simply doesn't work. Then you are paying thousands to them for bullshit. I am a neurologist and I assure you that this is a psychogenic movement disorder; a hysterical conversion reaction. Not dystonia. The 2 most significant reasons we live so much longer than, say 150 years ago, are proper sanitation and vaccinations. Those of you who skip immunizations (IMZ) are depending on "herd immunity" to keep you from getting sick. (That is depending on your neighbor's IMZ to keep the contagion down). A selfish cowardly way to take advantage of other's selflessness.

You're not a neurologist. Or, you're just not a very good neurologist, and probably shouldn't be practicing. No responsible, self-respecting neurologist would speak with confidence about a diagnosis made from watching a couple of minutes worth of video. The diagnosis of a conversion disorder requires, among other things, the ruling out of other possible neurological disease. Tell me, how exactly did you rule out the presence of other possible diseases by watching a two minute video?
