Incidently, citing the 'lack of time' necessary to succesfully prosecute as ground for NOT hearing the impeachment sends a message to future presidents that 'anything goes' in the last year of their office. Is that really the legacy you want for the 110th Congress? Do you really believe that the Judicial branch, through their implied inability to successfully prosecute in a reasonable amount of time, should be controlling the only check the legislative has on the executive? Are you insane?

Walter Jones should be getting a lot of credit for this from the American people, this is not easy for him, he is a Republican and he is demonstrating more gumption than most GOP Congresspeople by breaking away from the Neocon pack. Jones is a good person.

In answer to your Q, Ron Pauls area of expertise seems to be the economy, hence all of his video battles with Bernake and the Fed.

I'm sorry, Patient, but I have to disagree. You should have seen Conyers at the Ashcroft hearing. He was really critical. The difference comes when he is the one conducting the hearings, or the one asking the questions. One other thing, remember that Conyers is an old man, and that may affect how he appears to you. I recommend you read some of the excellent books Conyers has written. For instance, the one on the election fraud in Ohio will probably help you change your mind.

thepatient08 Didn't you see Conyers introduce Bugliosi, he was practically selling his book for him ! Conyers has to pretend to play it cool when he chairs something, but he let's his real feelings show every once in awhile.
