Many thanks for the video. I lived in Raymore in the early 1950's (my dad was the station agent), and haven't been back since. I've written the school a couple of times, but never got a response. Oddly after all these years, we'll be visiting Raymore in September, 2010, on the way to visit a cousin in Missouri, home state of the other Raymore. Anyhow, enjoyed the tour very much. It's a pretty little town.
I especially like your longer videos. My brother Glen and I were leaders of the Punnichy Dance Band, and played for a wedding dance in the community hall in Raymore, May 1946.The town appears to be holding its own and possibly growing, which is an exception. Have you thought of getting a metal detector and checking the ground where the station platforms existed. I remember folks sometime dropping coins etc between the 2 by 6s, as they were spaced about 3/8 inch apart, might be a fun Leebm29
It would be nice to see a shot of the Punnichy school. My brothers and I learned to ski on a hill on the east side of town. You might be able to get a nice shot of the station site from there. We only lived in Punnichy for 6 months, but it was one of our favorite places. I'm always interested in Stations, Trains, Elevators, Curling rinks,Theatres, Chinese cafes, and Schools. Leebm29

Damn, Lee: I HADN'T thought of that. That WOULD be fun. And interesting.
I'll get to Punnichy soon. Any place else in particular, besides the Elrose elevator?
