Replacing the Easter-Egg Striker with the undressing animation is silly and incomplete. It's supposed to happen in the Airport level and the script is supposed to animate the camera and the clothes, too.
Eh. Mind, I this isn't the only easteregg in the game, though. I'd count the text console on the bridge to the acid hall at the end of level 3 as well.
Yes, as a matter of fact, the "day 264" event qualifies as an interactive Easter egg. I hadn't made full sense of it at the moment of recording and uploading Episode 4 here, and I don't feel like "updating" the video details. I don't know a difference he looks just like the other enemies...I have the ps2 version of this and am wondering if it version specific or for all versions...
I think this guy should be there in the PS2 version as well. He stands apart from the other Strikers on that level in several ways: 1) he drops an extraordinary loot when killed; 2) he appears in one of the very first rooms you enter; 3) his improbable appearance is triggered by walking on top of that forklift's cabin.
I dont know why but I never got a sydicate striker as a secret. The first time I did it, a tctf dude popped up. After I installed the masterchief plugin, and I typed in ai2_spawnall, masterchief_elite came out
Your report makes it look like CHAR "secret2" specifies an invalid ONCC, and Oni then looks up the first ONCC in the full list (a TCTF guy without shoulderplates in the Edition, and a BGI Elite if you use the BGI plugin).
However, when I look in BINACJBOCharacter, I see that "secret2" refers to ONCCstriker_easy_1, which should be valid. Are you sure you haven't messed with the "secret2" CHAR in BINACJBOCharacter? maybe you're using a BINACJBOCharacter modded by someone else? Please report.
lol I dont even know how to mess with the secret2 CHAR in BINACJBOCharacter. And the only things I downloaded were AE, that BGI plugin, and EdT's motoko plugin. Should I try playing a normal version and try it out?
As I told, you in any "normal" version (regardless of the Edition and plugins), the secret striker should appear as ONCCstriker_easy_1. Your report indicates an abnormal BINACJBOCharacter in level1_Final, so maybe you can have a look at Oni\edition\GameDataFolder\level1_Final\BINACJBOCharacter.oni or submit it for analysis somehow. You want to check the first human-readable text string right after the second-to-last "RAHC" tag and right before "secret2", at the end of the file.
Wow, you have a very interesting version of Oni... Where did you get it, then, and where did you get the Edition?
Actually, the only striker_hard_4 I know is the one retextured by Rexxar and packaged by EdT (just search OCF for "striker_hard_4"), so it would seem like the BINACJBOCharacter of your level1 was modified so that the Easter Egg Striker is black.
My guess is that you've overwritten the BINACJBOCharacter.oni in level1_Final with one of those distributed by EdT (Good vs. Evil etc).
Indeed, maybe this wasn't exactly worth a podcast. You might say I overreacted to the opening comment in Tyr0n1's video (he said the secret was risky).
The next episode will be more exciting, promised.
