It still leaves me scratching my head to wonder, what stopped John Williams from reprising his composing duties for the last 5 "Harry Potter" movies?

@twist58 he had to do scores for other films, which were a priority, and it couldn't fit his schedule as years went on. first off was Star Wars I think... he even includes a bar dedicated to HP (cause the stories of Luke and Harry were similar) in the beginning of "A New Hope and End Credits" off the Episode 3 OST

Seeing John Williams live must be terrific. I saw him live at Tanglewood, but I was only six and don't remember much of it. John Williams is a genius and to see him at work must be quite an experience. Feel the magic of one of The Raider's March, one of his signature pieces!
