  • nice chops.

  • @thechuckwillkill the neck is like a normal c-shape jazz bass neckt. So really easy to play. Its like playing a normal jazz bass just with a bigger body!! String on the bass are great (0.45-1.00 DÁddario).

  • i have a few (stupid) questions for you, since im not so well-known with these things..

first : what kind of strings are on it? steel?

second : does it has a trussrod?

third : how much difference is this sound compared too a solid bass?

  • @Basstard22 Hello, friend. NO stupid questions at all.

The strings are round strings for acoustic bass, of course it has a truss rod and about the sound is not so much difference, but you can make it sound more like a double bass and is perfect to play alone with no amp.I´ve tried others and this is very comfortable to play and the fret is almost the same that any fender electric bass out there.

  • @Coppolabass Ah, just like that. Very cool indeed. So what's up with the amp. Do you need a amp. that is specially made for acoustics, or is is possible too plug in it any random bass amp?

  • @Basstard22 You can plug it in any bass amp of your choice. ( many acoustic players that I´ve seen use Hartke )

  • @Basstard22 Just plug it in any amp.Its sounds amazing!!!! I love this bass and i have a roland cube amp.and a Carvin bass amp on both it sounds reallyyyy nice warm and smooth.Flatwound string makes is sound even more then an upright bass.Just keep in mind the thickness of the strings!!!If you use thicker string it will sound more deep and smooth but you will have to adjust the trust rod because there will be more tension on the neck.So keep this in mind if you choose for thicker strings.

  • thats loef acoustic bass. WAT A RIPOFF. ahah jp man i use it to :3

  • I named mine Lillian! Such an awesome bass.

  • Wow men, beautiful sound!!

  • beutifull!!

  • Thats very cool. What kind of strings are you using? I'm thinking about getting that bass and was wondering how you got that amazing tone.

  • @JellyPanther The strings that came with the bass, they sound great because were brand new strings :)

  • Good cover! To anyone who wants to see and hear the original version of this song, search Loef Acoustic Bass.

  • Marvellous!!! Love this song! MORE MORE MORE MORE!!!

Could you please do a cover of Elder Scrolls Morrowind Theme with that setup?

  • @KalleK1989 Hey, I like Elder Scrolls myself, but do your own cover! I never ask anonymous YouTubers do "play this" or "do that". Hell if you like the music, play it yourself. You learn more that way, and it's not rude or needy.

  • @edthewave Don´t take this so serious, it´s just a cover to show how the bass sounds with a well known tune,,,that´s all..

  • @edthewave Well, I agree completely, however the trouble is that I don't have a bass guitar, only standard guitars. =(

  • ahhh its sounds like that, that are going to make me get one of my own! sweet job on the vid too man!

  • It sounds incredible!!! What equipment do you use to make it sound like that???

  • @artmonkid Not much, really, it´s plug directly to my sound card ( M_audio Mobile Pre), I added reverb and compression.

  • @artmonkid I just got my standard Fender Jazz Bass. Now I have two great basses. thanks for the tip!!!

  • It rattles too much

  • what kind of reverb did you use? sounds beautiful :]

  • Yep, I use a Roland Micro Bass Amp to support acoustical band lineups specially when playing w/o pick. The Micro Bass can be battery powered and run for about 10 hours. If you use a pick however, Most acoustic lineups are suitable. Absolutely a great bass to play with.

  • Hey - looks and sounds amazing. Is it loud? I need a bass for acoustic rehearsals that won't be drowned out by a rhythm guitar. Is the body standard size?

    Thanks,

    Chris,

    Dublin Ireland.

  • @cthussey Hi, thanks. The bass size is right, it´s like playing any fender fretboard, but it is not loud enough to play along with a guitar, you DO need at least a little combo amp.

  • @Coppolabass unless ur playing both acousticly? thats what there made for

  • wow suena hermoso te quedo brutal bro DTB

  • way cool. I want one of these. It sounds even better than I expected, especially for a $500 AEB

  • Which acoustic guitar is better, Takamine egb2 or a Fender Kingman Bass?

    Greeting from Spain ;D

  • -massive flailing-

    AHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!

    YOU are great. (:

  • Great job man ! Just ordered one of those from ams and now I'm glad i did .

  • Nice reverb!

  • is the originale string?

  • how much you have to pay for it? i have a 75 jazz bass and im looking for a good acoustic

  • love it~! ;]

  • Do you just run it through a regular bass amp ro do you have to get a different one cause it's acoustic? ( I dont Know Cause all i play is 5-string electrics.)I'm looking to get one of these.

  • what about the acoustic sound?

  • dude about the bass.u got any prob with the treble?cuz i had an acoustic bass but i had this prob sound was awful is that bass trustable ??

  • :) Nice, Man.

  • :) Nice, Man.

  • I got a Kingman for my first ever bass; or guitar for that matter. Just started learning to play today and love it. :D

  • is it heavy / unbalanced?

  • @MrJTMagnum23

Well, since this is my first bass I don't have much to compare it to, but it feels great and it's super light. So I don't think so.

  • @TheSsd8 ah, I see.

  • whats that song called?? nice playing ;)

  • I don´t know, I saw another guy playing it and I just covered it because I liked it.

  • encore !!!

  • reverb...

  • What tune is this? Very nicely done.

I bought a Kingman this Autumn. Its a really fine instrument.

  • NICE! I can play that song too! I really like how the tuning knobs are on one side too. Mine are two on both sides.

  • Very nice song and well played!!

    Can't wait to get mine!

I just order the exact same and im so excited! :D

  • Does it sound good unplugged? I would love to hear it jamming with an acoustic guitar to see if it can keep up. .....maybe you can load an unplugged vid?

  • I own it. Unplugged it's not very loud at all. In fact, it's one of the quietest one's I've heard. But unless you get hold of a Tacoma Thunderchief, you'll need to amplify most acoustic electric basses (AEB) if your doing an acoustic jam with more that one other guitar. But this is perhaps the best looking AEB and with the jazz neck, it's very slick to play!

  • wow que bueno es ese bajo no? tu cuantos bajos tienes?xD kuanto te a costado ese?

  • I'm not a fan of that piezo tone that seems to be on all acoustic basses, but I'm really interested in this bass - but only if it has an even and bassy unplugged tone. Any thoughts?

  • hmm yeah kinda but my ovation cc274 has actually a very nice preamp doesn't sound so much like piezo u actually can use it like an electric bass a rockband and because of the soundholes that r more on top there is less feedback

  • @actionfleet might I ask how much you payed for that bass? or how much you would sell it for? (I'm not asking you to sell it). I got myself one for rather cheap and I'm deciding if it's worth getting the neck reset or if I should just sell it

  • @iluvvsmp2 i payed about 150 euros and sorry i don'T sell it.

but look on ebay there are a lot of ovation acoustic basses, even though i recommend you to try it first cause those basses have a bowl-like body and for some players it's rather uncomfortable

  • Se oye muy bien!!!!!!!!

  • man, sounds good! tell me something, does it sound well without amp???

  • It has a very nice sound without amp. I´ll try to upload a video of it.

  • Comment removed

  • one more thing?? can you play easily with it???

  • Yes I can. It´s very easy to play. The fretboard mekes you think you are playing a precision bass.

  • and one more: when are you going to upload a video to listen the acoustic sound??

  • @Coppolabass

The neck looks more like a Jazz bass. Is it really closer to a P-bass neck? I really like these and would love to have one. Nice playing too btw.

  • did you get a gig bag with the bass? Nice sound by the way.

  • No gig bag... :( .

I´ll have to get it, although the bass is light, it´s quite big.

  • @Coppolabass Nice reverb!

  • @Coppolabass how loud is it unplugged

  • @lanceunderpants Enough to play at home but useless live even in a small venue, you need to plug it to a DI or an amp, but the sound it´s great. I´m quite happy with it. By the way, I got a gig bag at Thomann.com very cheap, and fits the bass perfectly!

  • can you show more of this Kingman svp?

  • nice play man!!

  • Just got MINE!!!

  • amazing!

  • sounds amazing great job

  • esta muy guapo el bajo no coppo???

  • ole ahi mi Francis!!! mola.
