I'd give my left nut to dance like that dude does from 1:37-2:05. Pure genius...

Can I just say, that nothing about the Dean Carter story (what there is of it..) makes any sense whatsoever. I'm not convinced he exists in reality. Was he a CIA experiment gone awry??? Can anyone shed any light on this enigma??

At any rate, the music's not even from the same solar system as ours let alone the same planet..

Yes, I am Janice Rodgers. I auditioned for Dean after seeing him interview on "The Hop", a local television dance show. We always had a really great time at the studio. His band also played at the local park pavilions' dances on Friday nights and I always tried to go and dance up by the band. I haven't seen him in quite a while but I think that he is performing gospel now and you could do a search for him, maybe Champaign, IL . He did have a myspace account. I have lots of our songs on tape.

Well, how about that!! I am singing background on this song. That was in the sixties when I was in high school. The song was made in the upstairs studio of a two-story house on Ross Lane.

And being a little more serious, I'm really honored & pleased to hear from you. It's an amazing & fantastic job you've done back then. IMO it's the most creative & imaginative - while avoiding being pompous or pretentious - stuff ever recorded. You've got a reason to be proud to participate in it. It's a great thing, no matter whether your work gain the recognition it deserves or not.
