First, I washed with regular detergent, ran a rinse cycle, then, used these two items, the wash and the treatment, on a gortex tent and jacket, separately, with a little better results. I used the larger bottles in spite of what the dosage they claim you need. In this case, I think more is better. Plus, I tumble dried them both. I was out yesterday, in the rain, and didn't get wet under my jacket.
@slodeth5 Interesting, I will have to try an even larger bottle. I tumble tried my jacket and rain pants. I am really pleased at how clean they are, and even slightly increased waterproofness is worth it for me :)
Great videos. I recommend using Granger brand. To get the best results use the cleaner, wash in, then spray on. This is the only way I have ever seen garments get back to original specs. Depending on use do it every 6 months to a year. Every once in a while just wash or through in dryer to bring back DWR.
@SixtyAteOutdoors Thanks! The tech wash really got the dirt out of my jacket. The lower arms and cuffs were pretty grungy looking. I'll have to check out Granger too.

@TheHikingLady That's my thinking, too. It's a pretty good product.
