@Jonnieeb not true, I never doubted the 90's music, wu tang, smashing pumpkins, filter, rage against the machine, dr. dre, eminem, prodigy, the crystal method, everclear, corrosion of conformity, rancid, chili peppers, slayer, snot, sound garden, pantera and blind melon to name just a few of the artist from the 90's that killed it, what part of the mainstream is even close to good now, even the alternative rock scene is pretty dry with pop punk and ballad songs.

I think there's parts of music today that are really pushing the boundaries and i'm liking their direction. Dance music in particular. Some scenes just tend to grow more at different times. Maybe its not to your liking right now, but one day i reckon people will remember the 00s fondly.
