U know its rude to speak with ur mouth full and not sharing Overlander..LOL...Interesting video..quite insightful...Hope all goes well for ya...Fingers crossed..:)
1. Can I ask what camera you used? It looks like some sort of a Sony Cam (the stabilization is superb)
2. Secondly, how do you sell the ROI (Return-on-Investment) to clients on the Corporate Profiles.. Most videos without proper SEO only end up getting 300-500 views on YouTube...
I've had CEOs tell me companies don't just need a video to feel good about themselves... they want to see quantifiable results as a direct result of the video. Your thoughts?
@STORECAST I use a canon xf100. I've had good success getting videos to number one in search on relevant terms. Keyword SEO is as important as the video production. Becoming a crowded market though, becoming harder and harder
I've been watching many of your videos & have grown to like your style and OPENESS. This is one of the main differences between internet based entertainment and the history channel. As a documentary video artist, what concerns me is that it seems that generating an income from google ads and such is not easy. Your endeavor into the 2minprofile is ideal. However, is this not taking time away from your love for travel? What about contacting people/businesses in advance of your travel destinations?
@creatorsdream Thanks, yes making money relying on adsense is not reliable enough as a main income source. I'm happy the way things have turned out. Once 2minprofile is set up it will be a passive income. In a lot of countries I travel I can't work (i.e. no work visa) The main thing I will be exploring in the Philippines is employing people to help develop overlander inc and show tv how to make travel programs :)
Hello, first let me say that you're awesome...I've quit my job this month & sold all of my things & plan on following in your awesome footsteps this May & driving from nyc down to south america, then continuing across the world after that depending on how it all goes...I have too many questions to ask you here, so let me just say, I truly appreciate all of your videos, & even though I am well on my way, I still need all the inspiration I can get, especially from solo travellers, so thank you sir
@StacksNyc80 I'm glad my videos have inspired you. As I have said before, that first step is the hardest and you never really know where your luck comes from when on the road. Things have panned out very differently than I expected. I think it is important to keep your eyes open for opportunities, the road is a great teacher :)
@cukito16 yes, I am he who travels alone. I do all the camera work, mainly hand held. Travelling alone gives you the most freedom, but you have to be willing to get yourself out there to meet people.
You are such a great inspiration, good luck and many blessings in your travels to the philippines, keep up the good work!! The Che shirt looks great!!

I think what you're doing is very cool. I should take a closer look at the digital nomad concept.
There seem to be a lot of potential in it, it's just finding a way to make it work.

Good for you but, don't tell your business plan to others and Muslim women are not allowed to marry Non-Muslim men. Ask her about it. Cheers
