  • @icugigasoft Hey, well i've been playing the game, and it's petty good. But i'm stuck on one part.

    After I get to Peach's castle I can't find Wuzzle Woods. I've look in the town but I can't find it.

    Where's Wuzzle Woods?

  • This games graphics looks better than most fangames I have seen on youtube, the animation is also really smooth! You should make this into a DS game!

  • May I make a suggestion?

    Try to use the mouse to do most of the commands, like in phantom hourglass. You know, drag it across the screen and move by clicking and/or holding the left mouse button on the spot to go to it. And use the same preemptive strike system as you do now, but remove the whole thing with having to hold a to break something. Just press z, like the first time. You don't have to, just an idea. It's a little awkward right now. Sorry if I come off as rude. I loved the first game!

  • I'm sorry, but the controls for this are horrible. If your going to use mouse support, dont use it while you have to press the primary button AND move, that's just ridiculous. And on top of that, the timing is on steroids! sometimes it jumps when its half full, sometimes 1/4 or or 3/4 full, and sometimes not at all! It keeps on changing the rules! and the funny thing is, I FREAKING LOVED THE SEVEN SAGES! I'm not a hater, its just messed up! I apologize if I sound rude, but its just messed up.

    When you use the mouse to get a first strike, you don't need to be pressing any primary buttons. They run to you and all you need is contact. Other games ask a lot more than that. About the timing, is the game just lagging for you, because everything is made smoothly.

  • awesome. one thing id change is the bit with the HP and SP. That looks a bit crappy. But everything else is AWESOME

  • @THECAPTAINBONES You can find it at hbgames (dot) org and other places. It's called the SBS v 2.2xp. It's also called the Tankentai XP.

  • The one on hbgames was our old mario we finished for rm2k3. You can download it if you want.

    But yeah, we've done a lot on the battling since this vid so we're due for another vid. Good luck on your project as well.

  • Yes, with the battle system tankentai. Actually VX has a better version of it as well. Version 3.3d I believe.

  • I think every "animation" has a speed setting. Look at the lists of numbers separated by commas.

  • Yeah, 2k3 just couldn't have timed hits and interactive battling, unless you made a custom battle system with pictures. It's a big deal being able to do this now.

  • We did think of a story beforehand, but we might change it. But yeah, right now we're mainly focused on the engine.

  • Yea, when we really started working on it a year and a couple of months ago, the game was at coniferous confusion, so that gives an idea of the work.
