I'm just gonna come right out and ask, why do people argue which is better, xbox or ps3? Both are really great systems and both have theyre own flaws. I've played with both ps3 and xbox 360 and both seem equaly great. Sure some things could be improved, but can't we all just game in happiness?

People are going to say Natal is better because it's controller free, but if you REALLY think about it, would you rather play with air, or an actual controller that will actually feel like you are attacking something?

I'm not trying to bash Natal, it's just my opinion is that the Natal hype will come and go. I may be wrong. But oh well, people don't seem to talk much about the Eye Toy anymore, which did the same thing Natal is hyped to do, but was less sophisticated.

Okay guys, I've played wii sports resort with the WM+, and I really like the game, and think that it is true 1:1 control. I haven't played with Natal or the PS3 wand, so I'm not going to say that either of them are "crap" or "much better than...", because games and peripherals like these have been over-hyped in the past, and ended up being rubbish, and some have been under-hyped and been great. Honestly, how you tell how good something is, until you've actually played with it? I own only a wii.

Wii's motion controller = Tries to do everything the Ps3 controller does, only without the hardware to appeal to older gamers.

360's Natal = Awful delay from real motion to onscreen motion will make it very frustrating when trying to play with a 10-year-old boy named Milo.

I said the PS3 motion controller will create a rich gaming experience, while the Wii lacks a little in terms of graphical hardware. You certainly couldn't achieve a game like Killzone 2, or The Last Guardian on the Wii. Nonetheless, they are both great consoles, and you're absolutely right.

I agree it looks much better than the wii remote, but having played wii sports resort (with the archery and swordfighting), and I think the wiimotion+ plays well, and looks just as sensitive, maybe more sensitive than this. I really think the archery and swordfighting in wii sports resort is just as sensitive as this, and there are videos on youtube of the archery in that as well(but I am a wii owner, and it's my only console, so yes, I guess I am pretty biased)

The ps3 controller has 2 devices, both of the devices will be able to accurately detect motion, and even relatively detailed motioned because there are two sensors that will be capable of measuring distances, etc.. Microsoft's motion camera is too advanced. That type of tech is a long way off.

Sony's is more practical, because you actually use buttons and an input device, instead of wildly flailing your arms and legs in the air.

Here's my analysis:

The Wii currently has the developers and the consumers trust in their games, but the implementation of "mini-games" and the sometimes awkward waggles have ruined teh expierence. Microsoft and their NATAL project is pretty cool, but i don't see how it could be implemented in any real gaming situation other than racing and puzzle games. The PS3 I believe has the best motion control, because it combines both NATAL and Wii technology with BUTTONS to provide a hybrid controller.

Alright first off the whole "scan your skateboard" thing was in a demo video and has not been proven to be operational at this time. Second of all, that technology isn't gonna benefit your game one bit is it? Voice recognition is cool, but I can't see it being used in a game. Games like ENDWAR have already been shown using headsets, and that worked fine. The whole hit the ball thing is not concerning to me, considering that this technology is still experimental including design and function.
