hey i need bit help pls :( I don't know if my emerald rom is detected i'm playing on desmume emulator. I inserted and reset my platinum, and ran for few hours and still cannot find gengar at all, just gastlys, no haunter too. did you see any haunters?

@MrThewarning That's not hacking, or cheating. Hacking is when you use various programs to change the structure of the game, including but not limited to changing maps, spirtes, text etc.. Cheating is when you use a device such as a gameshark or action replay to manipulate the game and get things you wouldn't normally be able to get or to make the game easier. I don't even know how to hack diamond/pearl only ruby sapphire and emerald. And I don't own an action replay/gameshark. How am I hacking?

@negative1990x It's actually called an emulator not a simulater. But to answer your question, no you can't use it on the emulator. In order to get the Gengar you have to have a 3rd generation pokemon game in the GBA slot of the DS. You can't do that on the emulator so that is why you can't find Gengar on your game.
