the casualties pazlagerbeer is defenitly a good band.....but it isnt history....GBH is history they are really unite since the 70s the casualties is some more extra from the 90s and they didnt success like GBH....and to be true we cant compare ssong like city baby attacked by rats, Haha, Gunned down etc to unknow soldier or punk rock tragedy.
GBH is at least the double of casualties...really way better.
@sxepunk336 America never had anything close to British hardcore. GBH, Exploited, Disorder, Discharge, Anti Nowhere League, Chaos UK, UK Decay.... Mad, drunk, skyhigh on booze and drugs hardcore!!
@LarS1963 Discharge, GBH, and Chaos UK are cool, but even those bands spent too much time working on their hair and jackets and not enough on making groundbreaking original music. Discharge especially had some great stuff, but if you look at the amount of really good UK82 bands to the amount of really good American hardcore bands, the numbers speak for themselves. Black Flag, Bad Brains, Poison Idea, Minor Threat, DK, DRI, MDC, Adoelscents, Gang Green, MDC, Suicidal T, Agnostic Front, etc
@LarS1963 and then if you want something more "british sounding", Filth totally ruled. Just listen to Pick Your King by Poison Idea. That album destroys. Listen to Eye For An Eye by Corrosion Of Conformity. I'm not some flag waving tool, but American hardcore destroys. They did it harder, faster, tighter, and with less bullshit
@sxepunk336 But it is/was PUNK! It is not supposed to be tight. That's excactly where the US bands got it wrong. It's supposed to be mad, insane, revolting, disgusting, provocative and chaotic. Organized, tight, hard and fast is metal, not punk. ;)

I can just imagine, GBH, Discharge, and the English Dogs at the same show. You guys are among the lucky to have seen that. You guys have any Broken Bones vids?
about the stage phrase.....well that guy was just referring and quoting lyrics from the Dead Kennedys song Pull My Strings...either way, not sure what it has to do with G.B.H.
first time i saw gbh was in birmingham england in 1980 opening for discharge at the cedar club. they rocked big style, this looks like a late 80's video.
I was at all the Cedar Club gigs when they blew Discharge off the stage each time, didn't they, Clockwolf? On this gig, they supported Discharge at Hanley Victoria Hall in March 83. THe English Dogs were on the bill, too, before they had released any records. It was a great night out, even though the Victoria Hall had no bar at the time.
I saw these guys with Agnostic Front in 86.It was by far the most out of control show I've ever seen. The bouncers gave up pushing the stage divers off the stage after the second GBH song. Total chaos!
Yeah, saw em in 85, not rock stars at all. Cystic apparently has no idea how things work. They don't design the stage they play on, they play where they're booked.
Heh, what year do ya think that clip was filmed? I have strong doubts it was any time in the last decade. At any rate, you're being foolish to suggest that they ought to have some sort of control over the type of stage they play on. It simply isn't important. It's so unimportant, in fact, that it warrents absolutely no more comments (from me, at least).
So you are saying that GBH actually determines the height of EVERY stage at EVERY venue they play at? What are you 12 years old? HIGH STAGES ARE FUN TO JUMP OFF OF PERIOD!
i love gbh!!
i dont love however seeing peoples stupid comments whenever i see a video of a classic band.

I'm strapped into my bed, I've got electrodes in my head.
My nerves are really bad, it's the best time I've ever had.
I'm a sick boy and there's no cure.
I'm a sick boy there should be more.
But I'm happy the way I am, like a sardine in can.
People taking notes, people in white coats.
I see school girls everywhere, short skirts and pig-tailed hair.
But why must I suffer .. for being a gym slip lover ?
