@TheRadar77 They are really beautiful when seen with the naked eye, because they move, wave and change. However, long-exposure photography will make them brighter and fuzzier (because they move as the picture is being taken). You should take a winter vacation in Tromsø, Norway one day and see them for yourself :)

What causes these lights to happen?

Its seems fake, but its not. I have my self seen this in my city, Trondheim. Long time ago but it occurs there to, tho Trondheim is very far south In Norway. Compared to Tromsø and Svaldbard.

Its definitely amazing. Today my teacher mentioned northern lights. In my country, Turkey, to see this nature event isn't possible or I haven't seen it before. In this video movements of clouds aren't recognized but the nature in the pictures seems very beautiful. Thank u very much for sharing this video with us.
