What I really hate about this game is how cheap the COM is!

All their items are to get you, but other computers don't hit. They suddenly fly right over their traps!

Also When you drive by Mario or Luigi, they suddenly use a star power. They did it twice to me 2 times in a row!

Luigi used the star about 7 times in Round 2!

This game was the most cheapest COM I've ever seen in a Nintendo Game!

That game has the most basic 3D ever.

Well... It's still pretty good for a SNES.

It's not 3d, it's just a 2d game with a scaled background. The effect is called "Mode 7".

I know it's not "Real" 3D.

It just looks like there's depth because of the Mode 7 effect

I read up on Mode 7 and the SNES does just scale the "ground" to make it look like there's depth. It stays very pixelated though. Everything else is different sized sprites to look like there's distance.

So I DO know what it really is. Why did I get a -1 though?

god...This brings me back, I remember playing this game all the time, I can't find my SNES now, it went lost, along with Super Mario Kart, I loved this game, it had such short races, which was good, I loved it, I have a wii nowalong with MK wii, It's alright but nowhere as good as this one...good times :)
