Prune this: How to care for and prune the Dracaena family commonly known as a Corn plant

THANK YOU so much for this info. I bought a braided 3 stem marginata from Lowe's for $10 but it is much much smaller right now :) I did find some info on how to care for them but didn't really understand what they were talking about because I don't know much about plants. I like that you posted a video because now I can actually see what I'm supposed to do; I want to make sure it lives a long time!

I recently bought 10 large tropical plants from Home Depot because they were on sale for $10.00 each which I thought was a very good price.I have no idea how to take care of them.The tags on them say to give them indirect light but what does that mean ? Can I set them on the floor next to a window ? Is that enough light ? Do they need fertilizer,and do they need to be transfered to a larger pot to prevent root binding? One of the plants is a Croton(Codiaeum hybrid) Thanx ,Howard

Indirest light means no hash light. I would suggest keeping them all clear of beng right next to a window. A lot of the tropicals cannot be in direct light and you can keep them more towrds the center of your rooms.

Thank you for the info. What does Hash light mean ? Also,do I ever add a good fertilizer to these plant's.I have a product called Flora-Nova. Any suggestions ?
