i didn't watch the video because i love horses. it sounds like she's o.k. now judging from the comments. hope so. i have 3 of my own. i would be suicidal if something happened to them.

Our horse got injured when she got her legs tangled in fencing wire and cut her deep. Last home owners let the wire just sink into the fucking ground, it was all disconnected from the posts they had left and though nothing of it, assumed the wire was all taken out.

At first it didn't look too bad, the cuts didn't look too deep or bad.

Yesterday we changed the bandages and smelled gangrene, the one foot was cut to the bone.

Put her down this morning.

This brought tears to my eyes and a lump in my throat. Me being a horse owner myself in Iowa, I couldn't imagine what you all were going through iwhen this happened. That poor mare! So glad she is alive and doing well. Thank God the criminals were caught and brought to justice.
