It has been categorically proven that there was has never been global flooding, only localised flooding in various location, at various points in history but never global, & certainly not such a short time ago. The 'Red Planet' generally refers to Mars though i'm assuming you're talking about the mythical 'Nibiru' which cannot physically exist. There would be much evidence of it's previous passings for one such as stratigraphic & isotopic evidence which would be unmistakable though there is no trace of any such evidence.
Such an orbit couldn't hold either, it would have been ejected from our solar system a long time ago.
Another planetary body of this size would also cause perpetrations in the orbits of the other planets though they are all exactly as we should find them given the number of planets we have. There is also no evidence to suggest our solar system is a binary system so to claim we do isn't exactly being truthful.
Also, civilisations around at the time would have documented this event if true.

As it happens i'm an agnostic though you should understand that most Christians realise that Adam & Eve were allegorical characters & have no issues with evolution. Creationism simply isn't supported by the evidence, there's no getting away from that.
As for origins, we pretty much know what happened though obviously, we can't know for certain that's exactly how it happened but it can be demonstrated that there is no requirement to invoke supernatural to warrant our existence.

Just for the record, evolution has nothing to do with the origins of life & even if it were shown that there was a god who sparked off life on earth, that wouldn't change the fact that life evolved. Evolution truly isn't in question amongst the scientific community (which to be blunt is all that counts) & hasn't been since the mid 19th century.

The tallest human in recorded history was 8ft 11inches tall, and he developed several medical conditions due to his height. Such an orbit couldn't hold either, it would have been ejected from our solar system a long time ago.
Another planetary body of this size would also cause perpetrations in the orbits of the other planets though they are all exactly as we should find them given the number of planets we have. There is also no evidence to suggest our solar system is a binary system so to claim we do isn't exactly being truthful.
Also, civilisations around at the time would have documented this event if true.

As it happens i'm an agnostic though you should understand that most Christians realise that Adam & Eve were allegorical characters & have no issues with evolution. Creationism simply isn't supported by the evidence, there's no getting away from that.
As for origins, we pretty much know what happened though obviously, we can't know for certain that's exactly how it happened but it can be demonstrated that there is no requirement to invoke supernatural to warrant our existence.

The type of Buddism you talk about isn't a belief system, it's a philosiphy. @rc8rsracer Uh no thats not true at all. What about Dubai? Quatar? All of Japan? Switzerland? None of those have a christian majority. Actiually the swiss are mostly athiests and are leading the world in technology (Large hadron collider, genetics research). Austrailia is also half athiest and they do the best of all.
Christainity offers NOTHING to education or the economy. Why the hell would you think it would have a positive impact??

@rc8rsracer Athiests are almost by definiton NOT self centered. RELIGION is what says the universe, the earth, and all other life is here for us humans. We take a more logical view based on what the world tells us. (Ex: If animals are here for us to use, why do animals kill and eat people.)
You actually would have to be high or retarded to think that athiesm has a negative impact on the economy. Care to explain?

@rc8rsracer LOL and how is that? Name ONE thing bad that athiests are responsable for! We dont try to tear down God, we dont believe one exists. If he DID exist then it wouldnt matter right?
And the good that results from athiesm is obvious. No more religious killings here or in muslim countries, people stop trying to breed us all into starvation, we stop trying to tie bible stories into science and rely on the actual evidence, etc.

@rc8rsracer Everything about evolution is observed. And what do you think scientific theory is? Soemthing we made up or arent sure about? Nothing could be further from the truth! What about atomic theory? DO you get on planes? Maybe you shouldnt because the machine is based on the THEORY of flight. Theorys are scientific principals that ALL evidence supports. And sure enough, ALL of biology (and medicine) supports evolution. What evidence supports creationism?

@rc8rsracer Actually your time line is incorrect. Gen. 6:2 is where you stopped reading. That was just a statement. Verse 4 is the time line and it actually states that AFTER there were giants the "son's of God" went after women. And if you look up nephilim in the Hebrew it does not say they were partially demons. If your going to quote scripture study it for yourself please. Giants are of human decent.
