It just makes me sad to see this. If you wanna fight, great, go to a bar, go to a back alley, and get it on. I do jiu jitsu and kickboxing, so I am not adverse to fighting, but this game is supposed to be hockey, not boxing or ultimate fighting.

No wonder the Soviets dominated us in those days. Why not take all that energy and aggression and focus it on what is important... stopping the other team from scoring on you, and you scoring on the other team.

@sgsfdgfsdfsdfsddf The low low low point for Canadian hockey was the late 70's and very early 80's (until Gretzky became dominant). The Soviets defeated us badly at the 1979 Challenge Cup (mostly Canadians) and the 1981 Canada Cup.

After a decade (the 70's) of stupidly thinking we could dominate hockey by physical intimidation, our skills were underdeveloped, and the Soviets proved that skill intimidation could readily defeat physical intimidation.
