I just picked up this game again after not playing it for years, and only took me about an hour to beat the full game and in the midst of playing I forgot how awesome the soundtrack to this game is.  So varied! I too was first hooked thanks to a PS2 demo of the Mojo King Bee stage ^__^ Thanks for sharing!

After playing a demo of the game at Gamestop, I looked for music of the game. This was the first song I heard and my favorite to this day. I was imagining some powerful queen of some sort, an epic battle where Guitarooman fights not only her but hordes of her minions.

Imagine my disappointment when I actually got a Playstation 2 and the game, about 3 years later.

Still, it's one of my favorite games of all time.

well asee, each mode had different versions or additions toeach song, and even the psp one was made to sound different from the original songs and i was wondering if they modified the songs depending on the played levels, why not release each version

This is just the standard soundtrack for Gitaroo Man on PS2. It's the only one on the market. My mum imported it from Japan from me since there's no american version

They're both great, the English and this version, but there's one line I just love from the English one... I think it went something like... "... messenger you send your mental memories are simply irresistible..." or something like that. The different soundtracks really make me want to get the PS2 version, along with the PSP version I already have.

It's all a matter of practice, you can do it! I thought the same thing a few weeks back when I got it, the stage is a bitch, but are you missing out on the other songs then? Give it your best! You don't know what you got.

its actually easy, during the stage, just open your ps2 as if you were going to take the disk out, but don't, close it, and you will have finished the stage, its sort of a cheap way to win, but it works, and it works with both versions of the ps2 as far as i know xD

I could never get past this level when i was playing it because i kept falling in love with the beat and lyrics. Had to put it on mute, lol. I agree, this song is great but i can't find any of the gitaroo man songs on mp3 which is a shame.

Oh I agree! I still find it strange that this version was used in the final game in Europe instead of the English one, the english version is IMPOSSIBLE to find. There is no known soundtrack with it on =_=;

probably Koei use the english version to get people interested in buying the game but surprise them with the Japanese version when they buy the copy.

@MadamMinty I've got the EU versions of both the PS2 and the PSP re-release. Unfortunately, mine plays the English version of the track :( I do still have an old PS2 demo disc with this level on it with the Japanese track though :)
