this was excellent i started learning weaving about a month ago and i have learnt many weaves quite fast. do you by any chance know where i can find a decent vipent maille tutorial?
it might be hard to get some cameras focused when you're shooting the clip so near the cam. I know I probably would have problems, especially if I tried to shoot something like this with webcam.
Hence the bigger rings!! ;-)
EVERY tutorial that is even a little bit more difficult is not so easy to learn by watching.. but I think he did a nice job. everything always can be better but this served it's purpose.
Hi David, I just wanted to let you know this tutorial is great! Using the shower rings really helps to show the weaving process. Keep up the great work!
-AWESOME- video. Thank you for making this. I tried GSG once, borked it up, and lost interest. Finding this video made the weave easy! Keep em coming!
I've been trying for some time to figure out GSG and the photo-tutorials just weren't working for me...and now that I see this I know why...Thank you soo much for doing this. I like that you use the larger shower curtain rings which help in the up-over-through section...
Wow, what a great tutorial. Great idea to use shower rings to show us...big enough that even I can see them...lol. I have been trying to learn how to do this weave for a long time and couldn't get it...now I think I can.
I'd love to see a tut for the hoodoo weave...that was another I couldn't get.
For a 1st tut this is awesome. The fuzziness didn't matter to me as the rings you are using are so big. This isn't the method I use for GSG but I would be easily able to use your method using this vid. Very impressive - keep up the great work!!!!
i love your tutorials and the fact that u use shower curtain hooks has got to be the best thing ever. these are the greatest tutorials! :D

Thanks for the great tutorial! It's the curtain rings that made this weave understandable to me. Now I have a few sets of my own. :)
