If you watch it; they show Jonnny sitting down at it. And if you watch the 'basement' version they show him playing it. No add libbing. Although. a Scientist has figured out how to get pre-recorded music to adjust it's self to a live version that is not keeping in tempo with itself and adjust itself by speeding up or slowing down but without distorting it''s own sound.
