Epilepsy is brain disorder due to changes in brain activity not alangba, lol. Wow, Naija & it's superstitions! I still love my country though & great movie :)
Interesting! is very important to promise and fulfil your promise, i hope ladies will not just enjoy it but learn from this film, and also our men need to learn to give everything to God and not do evil . May GOD protect you Funke Akindele, nice one thanks to yorubalove more blessing.
money money...the things money has and continue to make people do...Lord help us..Nice movie...ladies marry who you truly love and have peace with oh and the lord will always provide the rest..!!Stop running after money....Stay blessed
na waoh o..some ppl can be so mean sha, see hw they'r taking her picture n d goat sef dey enjoy the back ride...the goat back properly just like a child...no shaking , moving ot crying on the bak...its good to be contented wit watever u have...ojukokoro is veryyyyyyyy bad and can lead ppl to death...tanks alot yorubalove to posting it for us to watch free/
i love my Funke, but had I known that this was going to have satirical epilepsy themes I wouldn't have viewed it. But being a Funke fan, I hung in there. My gf had it and eventually passed away at 31 from a grand mal. Other than that, this was straight. go Funke !!!!!
This movie lost its focus right from the cemetery scene... The starting was great ! The idea of the film editors using one clip severally in a movie is archaic... It is highly common with Nigerian movies, especially Yoruba... Yorubalove, keep the good job, we are loving it !
niger still a fetish country shame what image are we portraying. how can i explain this to young nigerians when they are baffled with such story lines again shame
No matter how good a country / culture is there is always the other side to it. There is no nationality without its other side let us all work to make life comfortable and habitable for all.
shame that in 2011 epilepsy can not be addressed sensibly one would have thought that the writer would have researced the ailement epilepsy medically also. many drugs in the market thet contriol epilepsy and does it reallyb well.
We are a developing country and so we should understand some oversight in the industry because we can't compete with the western movies which are far above us. We are working towards perfection
Yorubalove, Olorun a fun yin se O! Emi ti mi o so Yoruba laye mi, ti wa di eni to n ko yoruba sile. Inu mi dun si yin gan O! Mi o de si n ile Nigeria niisin sugbon awon aworan yin man mu mi ranti ile. Wow! I could go on forever. You're truly fantastic. I've just got to find some1 to speak the language with now. Ese O!
Here is a link to many famous people with "Warapa" or epilepsy and I hope Nollywood will join in not stereotyping illnesses. Just google "hollywood actors with epilepsy. Danny Glover, Julius Caesar and a few big prophets to mention but a few.
I appreciate the way these people are trying to bring awareness to Epilepsy but they very often do a poor job with our cultural stereotype like not touching or helping during a seizure disorder for fear of transmission. Epilepsy is not transmittable and it is eminently treatable/ controlled. Epilepsy is no reason not to lead a normal life just like sickle cell disease or HIV infection as long as they are well managed by a physician who knows what he is doing.
Good job!

I believe when people learn other great people are living with it, they will have a rethink and not stigmatize those suffering from it.
I appreciate the awareness you are trying to create and I know it will go a long way in changing their mindset.
